Procon do Jaboatão prepara programação especial para o Dia Mundial do Consumidor
Neste domingo, 15 de março, é comemorado o Dia Mundial do Consumidor, data que tem por objetivo destacar os avanços na defesa do cidadão e lembrar os compromissos assumidos pelos consumidores e empresas na aplicação da legislação. O Procon do Jaboatão dos Guararapes preparou uma programação de ações que acontecerão de segunda (16) a sexta-feira (20) no município.
Nos dias 16, 17 e 18, no horário das 7h30 às 9h30, haverá panfletagem e orientação aos consumidores que transitam nas proximidades das estações de metrô de Prazeres, Cavaleiro e Jaboatão Centro sobre os direitos básicos e consumo sustentável. Nos dias 19 e 20, a mesma ação acontecerá no Shopping Guararapes, em Piedade. Além das equipes do Procon, agentes da Vigilância Sanitária Municipal também participarão das atividades.
Durante a semana, o órgão municipal terá, em seu site oficial, textos sobre a importância das ferramentas públicas de proteção ao consumidor, com o objetivo de educar a população sobre como ter efetividade na busca por respeito e justiça nas relações de consumo.
Na segunda-feira, o Procon Jaboatão também divulgará o Cadastro de Reclamações Fundamentadas do exercício de 2019, contendo os procedimentos administrativos realizados pelo órgão, em atendimento ao Artigo 44 do Código de Defesa do Consumidor (CDC).
Historicamente, o Dia Mundial do Consumidor estabeleceu-se em 1985, em Assembleia Geral das Nações Unidas (ONU), destacando os quatro direitos fundamentais aos consumidores: Direito à segurança; Direito à informação; Direito à escolha; Direito a ser ouvido.
