PRF divulga Balanço da Operação Finados 2018
A imprudência contribuiu para a ocorrência de acidentes graves durante o feriado de Finados em Pernambuco. Entre a quinta-feira(1º/11) e o domingo (04/11), foram registrados 52
acidentes nas rodovias federais do estado, com 34 feridos e seis mortes. A Operação Finados do ano anterior teve um dia a mais e foram registrados 60 acidentes, com 44 feridos e uma morte.
Uma média diária de acidentes aponta 12 ocorrências em 2017 e 13, em 2018.
O acidente mais grave ocorreu na sexta-feira (02) pela manhã, na BR 423, em Saloá, no Agreste. O motorista de um caminhão perdeu o controle do veículo em uma descida, entrou na contramão da rodovia e colidiu de frente com um carro. Os condutores dos veículos faleceram no local. A causa presumível do acidente foi um problema nos freios do veículo de carga. Já no domingo (04) à noite, o motorista de um carro perdeu o controle do veículo e capotou, na BR 232, em Sairé, também no Agreste. Um passageiro faleceu, três ficaram feridos
e o motorista se evadiu do local. Há suspeita de que o carro era adulterado e os passageiros não utilizavam o cinto de segurança.
Em quatro dias de operação foram fiscalizadas 3.107 pessoas e 2.609 veículos, sendo emitidas 1.214 autuações por diversas irregularidades. Destacam-se 66 autuações pelo não uso do cinto de segurança, 57 por ultrapassagens em local proibido, 15 pela falta do capacete e cinco pela ausência da cadeirinha para crianças. Além disso, foram registradas 545 imagens de veículos com excesso de velocidade.
No combate à alcoolemia foram realizados 1.005 testes com o bafômetro, que resultaram em 33 autuações e três prisões de motoristas sob efeito de álcool. Quando o índice verificado no bafômetro é igual ou superior a 0,34 mg/l, além da multa e suspensão do direito de dirigir, o motorista é conduzido à delegacia de Polícia Civil.
As ações educativas alcançaram 227 pessoas, através de abordagens a carros e ônibus de turismo, em que foram abordadas as principais infrações verificadas nas rodovias e como
evitar acidentes. Durante a operação, foram recolhidos 118 veículos, 84 Certificados de Registro e Licenciamento de Veículo (CRLVs) e 27 Carteiras Nacionais de Habilitação (CNHs).
Para evitar acidentes, foram recolhidos 17 animais que estavam soltos nas rodovias e registradas 9,8 toneladas de excesso de peso em caminhões. Além disso, foram prestados auxílios a 26 motoristas que tiveram problemas mecânicos ou se envolveram em acidentes sem vítima.
O combate ao crime foi reforçado com o Grupo de Motociclistas da Regional e com o Núcleo de Operações Especiais, sendo presas quatro pessoas por porte ilegal de arma, adulteração de
veículo automotor e por dirigir sem possuir a CNH.
