PRF apreende 22 veículos roubados e adulterados durante operação em Pernambuco
Iniciativa registrou apreensões de droga, madeira, arma, produtos falsificados e sem nota fiscal
Foi encerrada no domingo (16) a quarta fase da Operação Tamoio, de combate ao crime organizado nas rodovias federais de Pernambuco. Com início na sexta-feira (14), a iniciativa da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) apreendeu 22 veículos, sendo 14 roubados e 8 adulterados, deteve 20 pessoas e gerou um prejuízo estimado de 1,3 milhão às organizações criminosas.
Durante a operação, foram fiscalizados 260 veículos e 392 pessoas, sendo apreendidos 2,1 milhões de filtros de cigarro sem nota fiscal, 46 Kg de maconha e 400 roupas falsificadas. Também foram apreendidos 30 m³ de madeira ilegal do Pará, uma arma de fogo e seis munições.
Para intensificar as ações de policiamento direcionado, que visa incrementar o enfrentamento qualificado à criminalidade e o aumento da percepção de segurança nas rodovias federais, a Tamoio IV foi coordenada em macro-regiões: fronteira, centro-sudeste e norte-nordeste. Da fronteira ao litoral, a atuação da PRF se concentrou nos principais corredores logísticos multimodais, rota de saída ou entrada do país no transporte de ilícitos.
