700 lideranças dos bairros da Mustardinha, San Martin, Bongi, Vila São Miguel, Afogados e Mangueira lotaram o salão do Clube Lenhadores da Mustardinha para anunciar o apoio aos candidatos a deputado federal André Ferreira (PSC) e estadual Eriberto Medeiros (PP). O evento, comandado por Nilson Pereira, serviu para que os dois candidatos apresentassem as suas propostas aos eleitores.
Vereador do Recife por três mandatos e com uma relação estreita com os moradores da região, que representa a 2ª Zona Eleitoral, André Ferreira destacou, em seu discurso, a importância e a responsabilidade do voto na eleição de outubro. Lembrou que a política necessita de novas práticas e que os eleitores precisam saber separar o joio do trigo.
“Quando plantamos o trigo, só podemos separá-lo do joio na colheita. Na política também tem que ser assim. Há bons e maus políticos. No dia 7 de outubro podemos tirar quem tem a ficha suja da vida pública e deixar apenas quem tem ficha limpa e serviços prestados à população”, discursou André Ferreira, sendo bastante aplaudido.
O deputado estadual e presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, Eriberto Medeiros, por sua vez, aproveitou o ato para anunciar que, atendendo aos apelos de amigos, decidiu disputar a reeleição, e não mais buscar uma vaga na Câmara Federal.
“Já estava com a campanha na rua, mas muitos amigos pediram para que continuasse o trabalho que venho fazendo na Assembleia Legislativa. Por isso, decidi que serei candidato a deputado estadual”, colocou Eriberto.
Anfitrião do encontro, o líder político da região Nilson Pereira abriu a reunião destacando os motivos pelos quais estava apresentando a parceria entre André Ferreira e Eriberto. “Tenho responsabilidade com a minha comunidade. E não iria trazer aqui pessoas que não tivessem serviços prestados ou que não tivesse o nome limpo. Por isso, estou com André Ferreira para federal e Eriberto Medeiros para estadual”, afirmou Nilson Pereira.
