CORRUPTION DURING THE PANDEMIC! HUMAN LIVES, WHAT DOES IT MATTER?” (EPISODE 7)

From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Today’s Episode: Ozone, the fifth energy element of the Big Bang. The grass appears, preparing the fields for the rising of the human being

In the timeline that we have been tracing in this series of articles, we are close to the day when humanity will be born on Planet Earth.

But, let’s go step by step. With 30 million years before we emerged, animals and plants were still attached to the sea.

Whether by custom or convenience, science does not yet know. The fact is that evolution always forces each species to the next step, and this was about to happen. But evolutionary time is not the same clock or cell time that we know and use. Evolutionary time does not use the calendar as we do today, because it has no commitment to us. We, humans, are just another particle in the infinite universe, or even larger multiverse.

That’s how 400 million years before human beings appeared on Planet Earth, plants make the first evolutionary movements towards the dry part. Note that flora and fauna in the oceans continue to exist normally with species that we do not yet know and with algae whose energy supplements the energy that exists in us humans. This is because we originally came from there.

First, plants place their branches outside the ocean surface, learn to breathe, and nourish themselves from the external elements, then it’s amphibians’ turn. These are the first animals to leave the waters to live in the dry part.

So, step by step as evolution pulls life by the hand, as a parent carries a child by the arm to teach him how to walk, another great evolutionary leap will pave the way for the arrival of species from oceans to land. Behold, in this one, appears the GRASS!

Surely you stopped short to reflect on the importance of grass, plants, wheat, grasses and grains in general, the leaves that feed ants and other animals, including us humans, but this does not mean that you stop reasoning or even if you don’t want to reason, knowledge owes you something. On the contrary, he runs his course by rewarding the diligent and punishing, mercilessly, the negligent.

It was in this evolutionary march that, in addition to oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, and nitrogen, it was time for ozone, all derived from the Big Bang.

Together, these five elements already offer protection against the sun’s dangerous rays and complete the respiratory cycle of the animal and plant kingdom, as they also allow photosynthesis. Trevor Valle, a paleontologist at the “Page Museum” says that in animal evolution it is incredible how the first amphibian comes out of the water and gives “its first breath of air”.

To get to what we know in recent human history, it was necessary for our ancestors to cut the umbilical cord with water and become able to procreate on land, and they learned how to do it because the law of evolution requires adapting or perish.

But, how was it that marine species managed to adapt in the dry portion if they depended on water to procreate? The scientific answer is that they have developed a way of carrying water with them to give birth to their young on land. That “container” was the egg!

Yes, the egg! It is the casing that allows water to be carried in sufficient quantity to produce offspring in it on dry land, even thousands of kilometers from the oceans. Evolutionary leaps allow each species to adapt and survive in new and different conditions.

And so, in the evolutionary trajectory, there are leaps of adaptation to new conditions in which the challenge is to survive or perish. As life always has its way, some species facing the threat of extinction find a way to survive.

Long into the future of this 400 million year time, when human beings have appeared on the planet, their struggle to survive which should focus on fighting the events and forces of Nature or harmonizing with them will focus on the fight against each other.

In this fight, nothing will be worse than corruption with public money, goods, and income, as those who manage to get hold of these resources to guarantee their own survival, that of relatives, friends, and allies, to the detriment of committing genocide against millions, who add up to the rest of the population.

The problem is that this category of genocide is never typified as a crime, because it is they themselves, this active corrupter and passive corrupter, who make the laws to protect themselves, as if it were a woolen blanket they use in the intense cold, while the too many of the people perish in the cold of the sidewalks and the dark and gloomy nights, always on the fringes of the minimum of social dignity.

In 2020, Gazeta do Povo newspaper reported that “The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) asked the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) to investigate the governors of Rio, Wilson Witzel (PSC); from Pará, Helder Barbalho (MDB); and from Amazonas, Wilson Lima (PSC), for emergency purchases made to fight the new coronavirus pandemic”. The same periodical reports that “In Amazonas, a state that is experiencing one of the most dramatic public health crises during the coronavirus pandemic (…) Former secretaries, former health managers, and businessmen have already been targets of the operation. The Federal Public Ministry’s investigations point to the doctor and businessman Mouhamad Moustafa, partner and administrator of the Salvare Medical Services, as the head of a criminal scheme that embezzled more than R$ 100 million in public resources. Until the beginning of March, Moustafa had accumulated seven criminal convictions, totaling 81 years in prison.”

Does evolution weaken us ethically, is being corrupt active or passive a matter of choice? Comment below this article. Leave your opinion.
