Com a suspensão das aulas devido ao coronavírus, os alunos do Ensino Médio do SESI-PE estão com mais uma opção de estudo a distância, além do material que está sendo disponibilizado pelos professores: a plataforma educativa online Geekie, na qual são oferecidos conteúdos para os alunos do 1º ao 3º ano do Ensino Médio. A iniciativa, que une educação e tecnologia, beneficiará cerca de 2500 estudantes da instituição.
Dividida em dois ambientes, a ferramenta serve como reforço e complemento dos assuntos outrora abordados em sala de aula e permite que o jovem estude em seu próprio ritmo, em qualquer lugar. No Geekie Lab, o estudante acessa os conteúdos de todas as disciplinas do Ensino Médio, de acordo com a sua matriz curricular, assiste videoaulas, realiza exercícios e atividades para ampliar e aprofundar os conhecimentos em cada matéria.
Já no Geekie Test é possível realizar simulados nos formatos dos adotados pelo Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), além de observar as competências e dificuldades de cada um. Para a gerente de Educação do SESI-PE, Mirella Barreto, toda essa abordagem multimídia otimiza o tempo do professor e engaja o aluno. “A plataforma tem uma linguagem jovem e aborda os assuntos que caem nos vestibulares, permitindo que os alunos do SESI-PE continuem a estudar durante esse período de isolamento social ocasionado pelo Covid-19 e também ao longo do ano. Nosso objetivo é potencializar o ensino-aprendizagem e melhorar o desempenho de todos de forma divertida e eficiente”, comentou.
