Teatro Samuel Campelo recebe a Banda Sociedade Musical Josefense
O grupo de Santa Catarina se apresenta neste sábado (8/9), às 15h, com acesso gratuito
Com repertório variado, transitando por arranjos e adaptações de música popular e erudita, a Banda Sociedade Musical Josefense, de Santa Catarina, se apresenta gratuitamente neste sábado (8/9) no palco do Teatro Samuel Campelo, em Jaboatão dos Guararapes. Integrando a programação do projeto nacional Sonora Brasil, do Sesc, o grupo traz marchas, hinos, dobrados e músicas ligadas a festividades religiosas. A abertura acontece às 15h e será comandada pela Orquestra Pernambucana de Clarinetes, formada por 18 músicos. O acesso é gratuito.
Fundada em 1876, a União Josefense é formada por 28 músicos e recebeu, em 2016, o título de Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial de São José. Conta com uma escola de música que oferece aulas gratuitas de instrumentos de sopro e percussão a jovens maiores de 12 anos. Essa atividade tem como objetivo contribuir para a formação educacional dos alunos e, principalmente, garantir a longevidade da banda, apostando na renovação de seu quadro de artistas. O grupo se mantém graças às doações e a outras formas pontuais de captação de recursos.
O Sonora Brasil seguirá circulando pela Região Metropolitana do Recife com a Banda Sociedade Musical Josefense. Na segunda-feira (10/9), o grupo vai se apresentar no Sesc Ler São Lourenço da Mata, às 19h, com acesso aberto ao público. Em sua 20º edição, o projeto traz os temas “Na pisada dos cocos” e “Bandas de música: formações e repertórios”, com a participação de quatro grupos em cada tema.
Sesc – O Serviço Social do Comércio (Sesc) foi criado em 1946. Em Pernambuco, iniciou suas atividades em 1947. Oferece para os funcionários do comércio de bens, serviços e turismo, bem como para o público geral, a preços módicos ou gratuitamente, atividades nas áreas de educação, saúde, cultura, recreação, esporte, turismo e assistência social. Atualmente, existem 19 unidades do Sesc do Litoral ao Sertão do estado, incluindo dois hotéis, em Garanhuns e Triunfo. Essas unidades dispõem de escolas, equipamentos culturais (como teatros e galerias de arte), restaurantes, academias, quadras poliesportivas, campos de futebol, entre outros espaços e projetos.
