Sob a coordenação de Ítalo Ferraz, os Gêmeos Niel e José conquistam uma vaga no Conselho tutelar de Recife
José Gêmeos é o mais novo conselheiro tutelar do Recife. Ele foi eleito com 739 votos e sua campanha teve a coordenação de Ítalo Ferraz. Eles fazem trabalhos juntos, e para o Conselho Tutelar José foi o que participou do processo eleitoral. Os votos foram em sua maioria dos bairros de Totó, Coqueiral, Sancho e Tejipió. O base maior foi nas comunidades de Totó e Brasília. Os gêmeos já fazem um trabalho há mais de 20 anos na comunidade junto a criança e adolescente na área de esporte e educação, onde trabalham na escola Monsenhor Álvaro Negromonte e fazem parte da diretoria do Crievida.
