Regras para contratação de Seguro Automotivo mudam a partir de hoje (1º de setembro)

A convite do Sindsegnne, presidente da Comissão de Automóvel da FenSeg esclarece as principais alterações e fala das expectativas para o mercado

Entra em vigor a partir desta quarta-feira, dia 1º de setembro, a Circular nº 639/2021, da Superintendência de Seguros Privados (Susep), que altera as regras e critérios para a operação do Seguro Automotivo no Brasil. De modo geral, a nova norma simplifica e flexibiliza o produto voltado para veículos automotivos, que é uma das principais modalidades do país, tendo arrecadado, apenas no primeiro semestre deste ano, mais de R$17 bilhões em prêmios, e visa a inclusão e a ampliação de acesso para a população, possibilitando o desenvolvimento do mercado.

Mas na prática, o que muda para consumidores, corretores e seguradoras? A convite do Sindicato das Seguradoras Norte e Nordeste (Sindsegnne), o presidente da Comissão de Automóvel da Federação Nacional de Seguros Gerais (FenSeg), Walter Pereira, esclarece algumas questões. “Destacamos alguns pontos importantes da Circular 639/2021, entre eles a possibilidade de contratação do seguro de Responsabilidade Civil Facultativa em nome do condutor, sem a vinculação com um veículo específico”, aponta.

O executivo também destaca que, com as novas regras, haverá a possibilidade de formatação de combos de coberturas, abrangendo diferentes situações de risco para o veículo, de forma isolada ou combinada, e ainda será possível ofertar o produto com atendimento exclusivo em rede referenciada, até então vedada para o segmento de automóveis.

“Por exemplo, o cliente poderá contratar a cobertura apenas para roubo ou a combinação com incêndio e colisão. Isso ocorre a partir do entendimento da Susep de que o consumidor pode ter interesse em fazer um seguro mais específico para sua realidade”, completa o presidente. Segundo ele, a FenSeg vê com otimismo e satisfação a Circular 639/2021, pois ela vem para trazer inovação e competitividade ao mercado.

“Com normas mais flexíveis, fica aberto o caminho para ampliar a base de segurados, com a criação de novos produtos mais ajustados às necessidades do consumidor. As novas regras também são benéficas para os corretores, que devem contar com incremento nos portfólios das seguradoras”, aponta. Hoje, em todo o Brasil, pouco mais de 30% da frota circulante de veículos possui algum tipo de cobertura securitária. Então o potencial de crescimento é considerável.

Apesar de começar a valer neste início de setembro,  as seguradoras terão até 180 dias para se adequarem às novas regras da Susep. Os contratos de Seguro Auto que já estão em vigor permanecem inalterados.
