Projeto social quer levar mais dignidade e apoio a famílias da Roda de Fogo

A perda do emprego e o agravamento da desigualdade social estão impactando diretamente na sobrevivência de muitas famílias. Recente pesquisa do IPEA revela que três em cada dez famílias perderam renda do trabalho ano passado. Além da quebra no orçamento, a pandemia também interfere nas relações humanas e educação e aprendizado dos filhos.
De maneira voluntária, uma aluna de Serviço Social do Centro Universitário Tiradentes (Unit-PE) participa de uma ação social, que vem ajudando famílias de baixa renda, na comunidade Roda de Fogo, na Zona Oeste do Recife. Há cerca de quatro anos Marielle Silva integra o projeto social Novo Caminhar, que atende crianças de cinco a 12 anos, com reforço escolar de matemática e português, além de aulas de informática, atividade recreativa e evangelismo.
A iniciativa também tenta viabilizar ações e parcerias que contemplem adolescentes, oferecendo cursos profissionalizantes. Outra ação à comunidade é a distribuição de cestas básicas. “O projeto quer levar um pouco de dignidade, conhecimento, assistência e possibilidades para a vida daquelas famílias”, ressalta a aluna.
Divisão de tarefas
No dia a dia, cada colaborador é responsável por uma atividade. A de Marielle é promover palestras aos pais com profissionais convidados sobre saúde, direitos, família, relação pais e filhos, educação, previdência, ensinamentos cristão, entre outros temas. No momento, foram interrompidas por conta da pandemia. “Sair um pouco do nosso eu, da nossa individualidade, da nossa zona de conforto nos faz entender que fazer o bem é algo de grande valor”, argumenta Marielle.
O projeto Novo Caminhar – que se mantém com doações – funciona de segunda a sexta, das 8h às 17h. As turmas são dividas e cada turno envolve 20 crianças. No projeto social, trabalham seis pessoas, que recebem ajuda de custo.
