Prefeitura do Jaboatão orienta população sobre cuidados com manchas de petróleo
A Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes lançou, nesta quinta-feira (24), uma campanha de orientação sobre como as pessoas devem proceder caso encontrem manchas de petróleo nas praias do município. Desde o início da manhã, vem sendo realizada uma panfletagem em toda orla da cidade, informando, entre outros pontos, que a prefeitura deve ser comunicada imediatamente, para as equipes de limpeza possam ser acionadas. A orientação é de que não se pode ter contato com o material. No caso de convocação de voluntários para a realização de limpeza, a prefeitura irá distribuir luvas de borracha, botas e máscaras. Durante a manhã, inclusive, voluntários passaram por treinamento para que possam manusear o material de forma adequada, com segurança.
O prefeito Anderson Ferreira ressaltou a importância dos cuidados, por se tratar de um produto tóxico. “Nos antecipamos e estabelecemos, no Jaboatão, um protocolo próprio, porque temos responsabilidade com o nosso município. Além disso, queremos garantir a proteção das pessoas para que ninguém tenha acesso a esses resíduos de petróleo sem os equipamentos de proteção individual, para evitar problemas sérios de saúde. Ainda não necessitamos da participação de voluntários, mas já estamos preparando grupos para que possam nos ajudar na limpeza de forma adequada”, ressaltou.
Proprietária de um comércio em um ponto na orla, Flávia Santos destacou a iniciativa da prefeitura como positiva e garantiu que irá ajudar a difundir as informações. “A primeira coisa que a gente pensa numa hora dessas é em ir para a praia e ajudar a retirar esse óleo, mas essa ajuda realmente precisa ser feita com segurança, como tem sido dito aqui pelo pessoal da prefeitura. É importante que a gente tenha esse olhar de proteção”, ressaltou.
Desde a semana passada, a prefeitura intensificou o monitoramento nas praias, com monitoramento durante 24 horas por dia. O objetivo é detectar a presença de manchas antes que atinjam as praias e também seja possível fazer o recolhimento com rapidez, como aconteceu no início da manhã dessa quarta-feira (23), em Barra de Jangada. Caso alguém encontre resíduos de petróleo nas praias do Jaboatão, deve ligar para os números (81) 99975-5886 / 99291-3767.
CAPACITAÇÃO
A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Jaboatão dos Guararapes dará início, nesta sexta-feira (25), a uma capacitação voltada aos profissionais da rede pública para abordar temas ligados ao manuseio do óleo que tem sido encontrado na orla, bem como a implementação de protocolos de atendimento aos usuários que, porventura, tenham entrado em contato com o material. Participarão do treinamento, que será realizado no auditório da Faculdade dos Guararapes e no Centro Municipal de Qualificação Profissional, em Piedade, cerca de 200 servidores, entre agentes comunitários de saúde, médicos, dentistas e enfermeiros.
