Prefeitura do Jaboatão faz parceria com costureiras para doação de máscaras de tecido
A Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes firmou parceria com costureiras do município para a produção de máscaras de tecido que serão doadas, inicialmente, aos comerciantes de mercados públicos do município, taxistas, motoristas e cobradores de ônibus. A gestão municipal participa com maquinário, instalações do Espaço Mulher Empreendedora e material. As 21 costureiras voluntárias entram com a mão de obra.
Essa parceria faz parte das ações desenvolvidas pela Prefeitura do Jaboatão para proteger a população contra o novo coronavírus (Covid-19). A maioria das costureiras fará esse trabalho de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h ao 12h, no Espaço Mulher Empreendedora, revezando os horários para evitar aglomeração. Aquelas que precisam cumprir o isolamento social trabalharão em casa. A distribuição das máscaras será realizada pela prefeitura e a expectativa é que sejam produzidas cerca de cinco mil unidades por mês.
Nesta segunda-feira (13), o prefeito Anderson Ferreira agradeceu a participação das costureiras “nesse momento em que poder público e a população precisam se unir para enfrentar a pandemia”. “Todas compreenderam a situação que estamos vivendo. Estão aqui para doar parte do seu tempo e prestar solidariedade às demais pessoas. Essa é mais uma iniciativa da nossa gestão no sentido de proteger a população. Nosso objetivo é um só: salvar vidas”, ressaltou.
Luciana Maria da Silva é cozinheira e concluiu, no mês de fevereiro, o curso de Corte e Costura gratuito, promovido pelo Espaço Mulher Empreendedora. Agora, é voluntária na produção das máscaras. “Cheguei aqui sem saber costurar. Quero agora poder retribuir o que aprendi. Estou fazendo essas máscaras que serão importantes para proteger quem tem que sair de casa para trabalhar”, disse a costureira.
Comerciante no Mercado da Mangueiras, José Nilton já recebeu uma máscara produzida pela parceria e classificou a iniciativa como importante. “A gente trabalha todo dia aqui no mercado e convive com muita gente. Por isso, precisamos dessa proteção. Essa doação de máscaras chega em boa hora, até porque a renda diminuiu e ficou difícil comprar”, explicou o feirante.
