POLÍCIA FEDERAL LOCALIZA E PRENDE CRIMINOSO FORAGIDO DA JUSTIÇA ITALIANA
O estrangeiro estava residindo no município de Sirinhaém, e será extraditado para seu país de origem.
A Polícia Federal em Pernambuco, na manhã desta segunda-feira, 23, deu cumprimento a um mandado de prisão expedido pelo Ministro Edson Fachin, do Supremo Tribunal Federal, em desfavor de um Italiano que estava foragido da justiça de seu país. Ele é suspeito de cometer crimes entre os anos de 2016 e 2019 como integrante de uma organização criminosa na Itália. Os crimes imputados ao suspeito são de fraude contra o governo e compensação falsa, além de fazer parte de organização criminosa, infrações estas que estão previstas nos artigos 110, 416 e 640/2 do código penal italiano e 10/2 do Decreto Lei 74/2000.
O estrangeiro foi localizado, através de investigações da Polícia Federal, residindo na zona rural do Município de Sirinhaém, na zona da mata sul de Pernambuco. Em seu nome, constava chamada a difusão vermelha, que é uma classificação da INTERPOL aplicada a pessoas de alto grau de periculosidade.
Além do mandado de prisão, também há uma solicitação de abertura de processo de extradição em desfavor do preso.
Após ser preso, ele teve o passaporte recolhido pela Polícia Federal e foi encaminhado ao presídio, onde ficará custodiado, aguardando o processo de extradição para ser entrega à justiça italiana.
