Pessoas que vierem do exterior devem ficar em casa por sete dias, recomenda Ministério da Saúde
O Ministério da Saúde passará a recomendar, a partir desta sexta-feira (13), que todo viajante internacional fique em isolamento em casa por até sete dias a partir da data de desembarque. Caso apresente febre e outros sintomas, como tosse ou falta de ar, a orientação é que procure uma unidade de saúde.
A medida faz parte de um conjunto de medidas “não farmacológicas” propostas pelo Ministério da Saúde aos estados para diminuir a transmissão do novo coronavírus.
O objetivo não é impedir o avanço do vírus, mas reduzir a carga no sistema de saúde. Segundo Oliveira, países que adotaram essas ações conseguiram reduzir a curva de crescimento de casos. “A cada três dias, podemos ter o dobro do número de casos se não adotarmos essas medidas”, disse Oliveira, citando dados internacionais.
Entre as medidas propostas aos estados, está recomendar a organizadores de eventos de massa que os adiem ou cancelem se houver tempo hábil. Se for não possível, a orientação é que o evento ocorra sem público. A mesma medida vale para eventos com mais de cem pessoas em locais fechados. A pasta também recomenda que seja adiada a realização de cruzeiros até que a emergência seja encerrada.
Serviços públicos e privados devem ter locais para que as pessoas possam lavar com frequência as mãos e dispense com álcool em gel 70%, sugere o ministério. É recomendado ainda aumentar a frequência de limpeza de corrimões e maçanetas.
Para idosos e doentes crônicos, a recomendação é evitar locais com grande aglomeração.
Outras recomendações incluem fazer velórios com menor concentração de pessoas.
As medidas estão sendo anunciadas aos estados na manhã desta sexta .
