Parceria entre Unit-PE e Prefeitura do Recife quer reduzir impacto das marés na capital pernambucana
Está lançado um desafio a universitários e recém-formados em instituições públicas e privadas de ensino superior, residentes no Recife. As inscrições iniciam hoje, dia 02 de agosto, e seguem até 05 de setembro. A dupla vencedora receberá como prêmio uma bolsa para elaborar solução e viagem técnica a Boston, nos Estados Unidos
Uma ação conjunta quer reduzir o impacto das marés, na capital pernambucana. O desafio vai envolver universitários e recém-formados em instituições públicas e privadas de ensino superior, residentes no Recife. Os candidatos terão que propor projetos viáveis sobre o tema e que promovam impacto social. A iniciativa é do Tiradentes Institute, por meio do Centro Universitário Tiradentes de Pernambuco (UNIT-PE), em parceria com a Prefeitura do Recife, via Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (SDECTI).

“Ações como esta estão em sintonia com nosso pensamento de melhoria do entorno e são experiências do Grupo Tiradentes realizadas com parcerias semelhantes, na cidade de Boston, nos EUA, com foco em projetos de desenvolvimento em criatividade e inovação”, pontuou o vice-presidente de Relações Institucionais do Grupo Tiradentes, Saumíneo Nascimento. Em Pernambuco, o Grupo Tiradentes atua por meio do Centro Universitário Tiradentes de Pernambuco (Unit-PE) e da Faculdade Tiradentes (Fits), em Piedade e também em Goiana, Zona da Mata Norte do Estado.
“O Tiradentes Solutions nasce a partir de iniciativas promovidas em Boston, que podem servir de inspiração para o Recife, permitindo que a ponte gerada entre as duas cidades e o potencial de estudantes e profissionais recém-formados gerem uma solução de nível internacional, que atenda a uma necessidade de nossa cidade”, afirma Renata Costa, Coordenadora de Relações Internacionais da Unit-PE.
Seleção
A partir dos projetos submetidos pela internet, serão selecionadas dez ideias para serem avaliadas num pitch day – dia para apresentação das ideias selecionadas, explorando características e benefícios dos projetos – para uma comissão de avaliação, no dia 20 de setembro. A dupla mais bem avaliada vai poder desenvolver sua ideia que poderá vir a ser adotada e executada pela Empresa de Manutenção e Limpeza Urbana do Recife (Emlurb).
Segundo o secretário de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação do Recife (SDECTI), Rafael Dubeux, o objetivo da iniciativa é valorizar soluções inovadoras desenvolvidas nas instituições de ensino e pesquisa em desafios urbanísticos da cidade, aliando o conhecimento à prática. O projeto bem-sucedido servirá de base para que a Emlurb adote a solução/tecnologia e já faça um plano de utilização.
“Vamos aproveitar a ideia do projeto de universitários e profissionais recém-formados e colocá-las a serviço do município, gerando resultados concretos para a sociedade. Ganha a gestão pública, ganham as universidades e ganha, sobretudo, o cidadão recifense”, afirma o gestor municipal.
Premiação
A ideia escolhida será desenvolvida durante dez meses – de setembro deste ano até julho de 2022. A iniciativa será acompanhada por técnicos do Centro Universitário Tiradentes de Pernambuco e da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação do Recife. Durante o trabalho, a dupla vencedora do desafio receberá como prêmio uma bolsa para desenvolver seu projeto por 10 meses e uma viagem técnica de cinco dias a Boston, nos Estados Unidos. A cidade norte-americana é referência internacional em inovação e empreendedorismo. “É um incentivo para os alunos e profissionais também ajudarem a construir a cidade onde moram, a pensar coletivamente e a colocar em prática o que aprenderam em sala de aula”, reforça a reitora da Unit-PE, Vanessa Piasson.
Bolsas
Podem participar estudantes de qualquer curso de graduação oferecido pela Unit-PE e profissionais recém-formados – com até três anos de conclusão da graduação – que moram no Recife, egressos de qualquer instituição de ensino superior. Os interessados deverão formar duplas para se inscreverem no processo seletivo. Serão concedidas duas bolsas-auxílios e as despesas de viagem da dupla selecionada serão custeadas pela Unit-PE, assim como toda a agenda de compromissos em Boston será programada e acompanhada pelo Tiradentes Institute.
“O Instituto Tiradentes acredita que para lidar com os desafios do mundo no qual vivemos, é preciso pensar além. Assim, visamos propiciar oportunidades para que as pessoas expandam seus horizontes através de experiências internacionais e do engajamento em um ambiente multicultural e inovador”, reforça Otavio Correia, diretor-executivo do Tiradentes Institute.
