Ônibus envelopados lembram a importância da prevenção no Outubro Rosa
Empresas Itamaracá, Pedrosa, São Judas Tadeu, Urbana-PE, NTU e OPAS/OMS levam o Outubro Rosa para o ônibus urbano. Campanha inova ao ampliar o foco e promover a prevenção em saúde da mulher como um todo, incluindo câncer de mama e outras doenças
A campanha Outubro Rosa ganhou este ano o reforço com ação voltada para as passageiras do transporte público coletivo e pode ser vista em ônibus de toda Região Metropolitana do Recife, através de cartazes internos em todos os veículos e alguns busdoor. Três ônibus foram envelopados externamente como forma de lembrar às passageiras sobre a importância do cuidado com a saúde. Na empresa Itamaracá, a linha 1967 – TI Igarassu (Dantas Barreto) veste a cor rosa da campanha, na Pedrosa, a linha 630 – Vasco da Gama/ Derby está envelopada e na São Judas Tadeu um ônibus da linha 185 – TI Cabo também está circulando com cor diferente até o fim de outubro.
A ação conjunta foi desenvolvida pelas empresas operadoras e reforçam a campanha nacional promovida pela Associação Nacional das Empresas de Transportes Urbanos (NTU), em parceria com a Organização Pan-Americana da Saúde/Organização Mundial da Saúde (OPAS/OMS) e localmente com a Urbana-PE (Sindicato das Empresas de Transportes de Passageiros no Estado de Pernambuco). A ação conta também com o apoio da Rota Mídia Exterior e do Grande Recife Consórcio de Transporte. A campanha tem caráter nacional e possui foco inovador: além de alertar para os riscos do câncer de mama, trata da saúde da mulher como um todo e promove também a prevenção de outras doenças importantes, como a hipertensão.
As peças da campanha incluem mensagens sobre a necessidade de adolescentes e jovens se vacinarem (em especial contra o HPV) e também sobre a importância de mulheres grávidas realizarem exames de pré-natal regularmente, orientando as usuárias do serviço a procurarem as unidades básicas de saúde da rede pública mais próximas, onde a prevenção pode ser feita gratuitamente.
“As mulheres representam mais da metade da população e boa parte delas viaja regularmente de transporte coletivo, portanto o ônibus é um espaço privilegiado para fazer chegar à elas essa mensagem de prevenção e cuidado com a saúde”, explica o presidente executivo da NTU, Otávio Cunha. “Além disso, temos muitas colaboradoras, incluindo motoristas, cobradoras e funcionárias administrativas, que também precisam estar atentas com sua saúde. Estamos fazendo nossa parte para alcançarmos os objetivos do Outubro Rosa”, concluiu.
Outubro Rosa
O movimento Outubro Rosa surgiu na década de 1990, nos Estados Unidos, e desde 2002 tem ações realizadas também no Brasil. A iniciativa, que ganhou esse nome pelo uso da cor rosa nas ações de mobilização de mulheres e na iluminação de monumentos e prédios públicos, tem como objetivo alertar a população sobre a importância do diagnóstico precoce do câncer de mama, além de promover o maior acesso aos serviços de diagnóstico e de tratamento, contribuindo assim para a redução da mortalidade associada à doença.
O câncer de mama é o tipo de câncer mais frequente entre as mulheres no mundo, segundo a OMS. Já o câncer de colo do útero, cuja prevenção foi incorporada recentemente ao Outubro Rosa, é o quarto.
