O FILHO DE GEGÊ!

Perdi um amigo, um dileto amigo, um grande amigo, incluído no exclusivo rol dos menos imperfeitos. Era um patrimônio de Recife, conhecia quase todos daqui e a pequena parte que não conhecia, conhecia ele. Dominava a árvore genealógica das famílias pernambucanas e se morasse em Boa Viagem, sabia onde residia, nome do prédio e quem era o dono da casa antes do edifício. Uma verdadeira fusão de cartório civil, de imóveis e o Waze. Inacreditável. Gaiato, brincalhão e solidário, um eterno adolescente daqueles que conseguia não perder a piada e nem o amigo. Carregou esse tipo alegre, que ficou refém. Muitos usufruíram e usaram de sua carismática presença, mas ele gostava, virava o centro das atenções. Haja palco!
Teimoso, mas sabia escutar e auscutar. Podia discordar no calor da conversa, mas no dia seguinte ligava e não raro, acolhia a argumentação contrária. Ele era o único amigo que me chamava de Beto, para ser justo era Beeeeto. Eu o conhecia bem, a carapaça e o miolo, sua essência era, pasmém, triste. Eu lhe disse, com sua aparente concordância, que ele era a síntese do “boneco de Olinda”, sorriso nos olhos e no canto da boca, mas poucos percebiam quem era aquele verdadeiro ser que carregava o boneco, em quais condições suportava aquela cangalha. Haja peso!
Eu conheci Claudinho no final da década de 80. Preferia lhe chamar assim, embora aceitasse a alcunha gago numa boa, pois segundo o próprio, na gréia, dizia que era um deficiente fonético. Invariavelmente em ocasiões que falasse seu nome, na sua ausência, e que alguns diziam não conhecê-lo, recorria ao apelido e de pronto ouvia: agora! O gago a gente conhece.
Perdeu o seu Pai com quase 25 anos e sua trajetória de vida foi dividida em AG/DG. AG antes de Gegê Bandeira, seu pai-ídolo, e DG, depois de Gegê, seu pai-mito. Nunca se libertou desse luto. Haja idealização!
Quando ele ia a fatídica Banca do Primo, se eu estivesse em Recife, movia montanhas para vê-lo. Sempre de camisa de linho de manga curta, caneta Montblanc no bolso, Rolex dado por sua especialíssima Mãe no pulso e o inseparável macossim. Esses sapatos tem muitas estórias, eram de um fabricante argentino, Rocco Lorenzzo, que para mim lhe transformou na versão masculina tupiniquim da ex primeira dama filipina Imelda Marcos. Haja mocossins!
De hábitos simples e fundamentais. Na pauta das conversas não faltavam: Gegê Mito Bandeira, Lilian Bandeira, Alice, irmãs, irmão, primos, patola, sashimi de salmão, Padaria Diplomata, Casa dos Frios, charuto e trotes. Depois de abrir a titela, com um problema sério de coração, herança genética, tinha um orgulho feroz do seu desempenho nas caminhadas no calçadão de Boa Viagem, se alguém duvidasse ele abria o aplicativo no seu celular com o trajeto, distância percorrida, velocidade máxima e média. Dos primos citados gostava dos Renda e Nejaim, mas os “Flag of Melo”, como ele dizia, eram citados com orgulho por carregar seu sobrenome e na sequência descambava para falar dos bisavôs ex governadores de Pernambuco e das usinas que já pertenceram a sua família, por isso ele era doce e de alma açucarada. Haja glicose!
Uma vez na mesa do bar ele disse que já tinha tomado 27 cervejas sozinho, na época a Malte 90, em Toquinho. Como ninguém acreditou, ele disse: liiiiiigue pra Fred Nejaim eeee pergunte a eeeeele. Eu liguei, Fred confirmou e não preciso contar o final. Haja perturbação!
No dia da tragédia estive com ele até 10 minutos antes, estava iluminado. Contou um trote que deu para um sujeito de codinome Parafina, casado com uma portuguesa, que hoje moram em Portugal, foi um sucesso. Rendeu prosa, verso e repeteco. Contarei em outra oportunidade.
A melhor definição de Fé é a posse antecipada daquilo que se espera. A minha Fé abalou-se, porque não consigo ter explicações. Qualquer um poderia morrer de bala perdida, menos Claudinho. Não fazia mal a ninguém, era da paz, do bem, da amizade e do amor. A bala me mata todo dia, deixou Alice viúva e todos nós órfãos!
