O Pernambuco em Foco desta semana foi com o Cantor Léo Bonny, em uma conversa
descontraída Léo falou um pouco de sua trajetória e do seu novo trabalho. Com uma carreira de 30 anos, ele canta de tudo um pouco: forró, reage, cúmbia e até o vaneirão um ritmo típico da região Sul, mas é com o brega que faz mais sucesso.
Com talento de sobra, Léo Bonny, não se limita apenas em cantar, ele também é intérprete, produtor e compositor. O artista tem mais de 400 músicas feitas por ele . Alguns de seus maiores sucessos embalaram muitos românticos, não só na sua voz, mas na voz de artistas como: Novinho da Paraíba, Conde Só Brega (heróis do amor e Vai saudade), The Fives entre outros. E é graças a suas composições que o cantor pode viver da música.
Com o visual típico de um bregueiro ele nos conta que é fã de outro cantor do Brega o Bartô Galeno e sempre se inspirou no jeito do ídolo, tanto no visual como no romantismo. “ Bartô Galeno sempre foi meu ídolo”, declarou, sorrindo Léo Bonny.
Bonny nos conta que o brega cantado por ele não faz a linha sofrência, e que o brega é popular porque conta as histórias de amores reais, que acontece entre os casais no dia a dia.
Em 2017, Léo esteve entre os artistas homenageados na câmara municipal do Recife, A solenidade aconteceu pela aprovação do projeto de lei do vereador Wanderson Florêncio do PSC, que criou o dia da música brega em Recife e escolheu o dia 14 de fevereiro por ser o dia do nascimento do cantor Reginaldo Rossi que morreu em 2013.
O compositor não pára sempre inspirado, Léo Bonny, trás um novo sucesso que foi lançado este ano, depois do carnaval . O nome do seu novo sucesso é Onde você está”, que já está disponível no YouTube..
