Jaboatão abre inscrições para concurso que vai eleger “O Mais Saboroso Bolo Souza Leão
Em época de festejos juninos virtuais, a Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes incentiva a cultura local com o anúncio do 1º Concurso “O Mais Saboroso Bolo Souza Leão”. A iniciativa é uma forma de estimular a gastronomia e fomentar a economia local neste momento de pandemia. O concurso é aberto para participantes que trabalham em padarias, confeitarias, docerias e profissionais de culinária da economia criativa, que residam no município, e que queiram colocar seus dotes culinários sob a avaliação de uma banca que julgará critérios como aparência, aroma e sabor.
As inscrições podem ser realizadas no site viver.jaboatao.pe.gov.br até o próximo dia 26 de junho. No ato de inscrição, o candidato deve submeter um vídeo de até 10 minutos e cinco fotos da confecção do bolo. O concurso garante uma premiação para as três receitas que atingirem maior pontuação, que receberão como prêmio, respectivamente: 1º colocado – R$ 3 mil e R$ 2 mil em produtos de culinária; 2º colocado – R$ 2 mil reais e R$ 1 mil em produtos de culinária; e 3º colocado – R$ 1 mil e R$ 500 em produtos de culinária.
“O bolo Souza Leão é um Patrimônio Cultural e Imaterial do Estado de Pernambuco. Segundo pesquisadores, ele entrou na história da culinária pernambucana por intermédio de Dona Rita de Cássia Souza Leão Bezerra Cavalcanti, esposa do coronel Agostinho Bezerra da Silva Cavalcanti, proprietário do engenho São Bartolomeu, povoado de Muribeca, aqui no município de Jaboatão dos Guararapes. Essa foi uma forma que encontramos de enaltecer a culinária local e até mesmo a história da nossa cidade”, comentou André Trajano, secretário-executivo de Turismo, Cultura, Esportes e Lazer do Jaboatão dos Guararapes.
