INSS volta com obrigatoriedade da prova de vida em 2022
A partir de 2022, os beneficiários do Instituto Nacional de Seguro Social (INSS) devem realizar a prova de vida para continuar recebendo os pagamentos. A prova, que foi suspensa devido a pandemia, em 2020 e três meses após início em 2021, volta a ser obrigatória. Cerca de 3,3 milhões de segurados precisam realizar entre janeiro e abril a prova relativa ao ano que passou.
O advogado previdenciário Elizeu Leite, lembra do novo calendário e aponta como a prova de vida pode ser realizada. “O INSS definiu um calendário com base no aniversário do beneficiado. Agora, independente do mês de vencimento, a partir de 2022, o beneficiário deverá realizar a prova de vida no mês de aniversário ou terá o bloqueio do benefício a partir de julho de 2022. Ela pode ser realizada nos caixas eletrônicos, com a biometria, ou nas agências do banco responsável pelo pagamento. Alguns bancos liberam a realização da prova de vida no internet banking ou no aplicativo referente ao banco. Em alguns casos, pode-se ter uma visita para comprovação ou por meio de um procurador cadastrado no INSS”, explica.
Para os que estão com a prova de vida vencida, o INSS divulgou os prazos para realização da comprovação. Se o vencimento for de novembro de 2020 a junho de 2021, o prazo final da realização da prova é em janeiro. Vencidas em julho e agosto de 2021, devem ser realizadas até fevereiro. Vencidas de setembro a outubro de 2021 têm o prazo máximo até março de 2022 e se o vencimento for de novembro a dezembro de 2021, deverão ser realizadas até abril de 2022.
A não realização da comprovação resulta no bloqueio e na suspensão do pagamento. Caso isso aconteça, o beneficiado tem três meses para atualizar os dados. Depois desse prazo, o pagamento é cancelado.
