Fonoaudióloga alerta quanto ao desenvolvimento da fala das crianças neste período de pandemia
Com a mudança na rotina devido ao isolamento social neste período de pandemia, muitas crianças mantiveram a rotina com os pais trabalhando em home office ou estavam sendo acompanhadas por algum responsável. Impedidos de ir à escola, ou ter uma saída com os amigos, por exemplo, o uso de equipamentos tecnológicos como tablet, celular e televisão têm crescido entre as crianças. Já entre os pais e responsáveis, o que tem aumentado é o cuidado com a saúde dos pequenos, pois muitas crianças estão apresentando déficit na comunicação, ocasionando transtornos na linguagem.
A fonoaudióloga Dryelle Azevedo, especialista no assunto, conta que o aumento do convívio familiar possibilitou que os pais pudessem observar atrasos na fala ou até mesmo uma regressão no desenvolvimento da fala “Frequentemente tenho recebido pais aflitos com a comunicação dos seus filhos, neste período de isolamento social, os pais estão observando dificuldades tanto na fala, quanto na alimentação das crianças”, adianta. A profissional ainda conta que alguns pequenos estão com suspeita de autismo.
Com ajuda do fonoaudiólogo, essas famílias estão conseguindo mudar condutas e direcionar a estimulação dos seus filhos. Além do tratamento, é importante o diagnóstico precoce.
A especialista conta que é importante saber que o bebê estabelece a comunicação muito antes das primeiras palavrinhas. “A comunicação infantil ocorre através das variações entre o choro e o sorriso, permitindo aos adultos entender suas necessidades”, detalha a fonoaudióloga ao reforça que, além dos sons e palavras, é importante que os pais fiquem atentos ao comportamento das crianças, na interação com outras crianças e com a família.
