FestCine Itaúna e Secretaria de Políticas para Mulheres de Caruaru promove oficina de curta-metragem.
Na ocasião, serão abordados os direitos das mulheres o enfrentamento à violência doméstica e familiar, além da oficina de Cinema: Elaborando Documentário de Baixo Custo, ministrada pelo Realizador do FestCine Itaúna, Paulo Conceição. A capacitação está dividida em quatro módulos durante o mês de março, sempre aos sábados, na sede da Associação dos Produtores e Criadores Rurais de Serra Verde.
Haverá ainda uma formação sociopolítica para as mulheres jovens negras da comunidade, que é remanescente do Quilombola de Serra Verde.
O curta gravado durante a oficina será exibido durante o Festcine Itaúna, que ocorrerá de 18 a 24 de abril de 2022. o Curta vai ser exibido com a Mostra Itaúna de Curta-metragem, através da Secretaria de Políticas para Mulheres de Caruaru, nas escolas municipais.
