Em Pernambuco, setor industrial sente queda em sua produção
A produção industrial pernambucana de fevereiro caiu 1,5% na comparação com o mesmo período do ano anterior. O motivo para esta queda teve a ver com a influência do setor de alimentos, considerado um dos mais importantes para o segmento, e que recuou 17,6% em razão dos estoques gerados no ano passado.
Na análise do economista da FIEPE, Cézar Andrade, o setor de alimentos conseguiu puxar para baixo o resultado final porque, em 2020, foi o que mais cresceu e, naturalmente, foi um dos mais demandados. “Eles produziram muito e estocaram também. Somado a isso, teve a fase final da safra de cana-de-açúcar, que, apesar de ter se encerrado em março, começa a influenciar na produção das empresas”, explicou. Esse resultado da comparação coloca Pernambuco na sétima posição dentre as 14 federações pesquisadas pelo IBGE.
Observando os dados de fevereiro deste ano em comparação com janeiro de 2021, Pernambuco também recuou, chegando a menos 1,1%. Com essa queda, Pernambuco fica atrás da média nacional, que foi de – 0,7% e a frente da média da região Nordeste, cuja retração foi de 2,6%. “Esse recuo pode estar relacionado a chegada da segunda onda da Covid-19, que, infelizmente, começava a se apresentar em fevereiro, e pela morosidade da campanha de vacinação para a população brasileira”, frisou Andrade.
Já o comportamento do dado no acumulado do ano foi positivo, mas ainda não indica se os próximos meses serão nesse mesmo ritmo. Segundo os dados, o Estado avançou 3,2% de janeiro a fevereiro e avançou 3% nos últimos 12 meses. Os setores de fabricação de produtos de borracha e de material plástico (11,6%), materiais de higiene (8,1%) e fabricação de produtos de metal, exceto máquinas e equipamentos (6,4%), foram os que mais avançaram neste último ano.
