Desfile das Bandeiras celebra as tradições juninas nesta sexta (28)
Nesta sexta (28), as bandeiras tomam conta das ruas do centro da cidade para o tradicional Desfile das Bandeiras Juninas, tradição das mais bonitas da liturgia de São João, que faz homenagem aos santos e brinquedos populares que compõem o ciclo festivo mais nordestino do ano. A iniciativa é da Prefeitura do Recife, através da Secretaria de Cultura e Fundação de Cultura Cidade do Recife.
Participam desta edição do desfile 12 bandeiras de agremiações e grupos culturais do Recife e de toda a Região Metropolitana do Recife. A concentração das bandeiras começa às 16h, ao lado da Igreja Madre de Deus. O cortejo, embalado pela Associação Musical 19 de Fevereiro, Mendes e sua Banda e Som Brasil Banda Show, seguirá, a partir das 17h, pela Rua da Moeda, Mariz e Barros e Rua do Apolo até chegar na Praça do Arsenal, onde as bandeiras serão recebidas pela Banda Junina Veneno. Encerrando a programação, o espetáculo Forró de PE transforma o desfile em arrasta pé.
Origem – O desfile das Bandeiras Juninas foi criado em 1993, para manter vivas as manifestações populares típicas do ciclo junino. A inspiração vem principalmente do Acorda Povo, um desfile realizado em bairros do Grande Recife e adjacências que costumava acontecer na madrugada do dia 23 para o dia 24 de junho e tinha o intuito de acordar a população para brincar o São João.
Forró de PE – A partir das 19h, forrozeiros de todas as regiões do estado se encontram na Praça do Arsenal, no espetáculo Forró de PE, para celebrar o forró em todos os seus sotaques.
O espetáculo começa pela Região Metropolitana, que será representada pela Bandinha Junina Veneno e por Toinho do Baião, que perpetua o legado musical e até imagético de Luiz Gonzaga.
Depois deles, a Mata Sul será celebrada pelo sanfoneiro do Cabo de Santo Agostinho Zequinha dos Oito Baixos, que soma quase 40 anos de pé de serra. A tradição forrozeira da Mata Norte subirá ao palco com o Forró de Matulão.
O Agreste será cantado pelo Trio Lagoa Grande, do Sítio Mocotó, localizado na cidade de Surubim.
Do Sertão e da fartura e fertilidade cultural daquele povo resiliente, Joquinha Gonzaga, sobrinho e também descendente artístico do Velho Lua, será o representante.
Cada um desses artistas fará uma apresentação de 40 minutos, levando litoral e Sertão para se encontrar e arrastar pé no bairro portuário.
