De olho em 2020, Elias Gomes transfere título para o Cabo
Elias Gomes (PSDB) deverá concorrer à Prefeitura do Cabo de Santo Agostinho, município do qual já foi prefeito em três mandatos. Elias, que também já comandou a gestão municipal de Fernando de Noronha e Jaboatão dos Guararapes – esse último seu domicílio de 2009 a 2016 – transferiu seu endereço para o Cabo de Santo Agostinho, na manhã desta sexta-feira (4). A decisão foi anunciada nas Redes Sociais do tucano, que afirma ter ouvido o “chamado a colaborar com a construção de um projeto de mudança para o Cabo”, disse. A última candidatura de Elias Gomes foi em 2018, concorrendo ao legislativo estadual, quando obteve com 12.328 votos.
Segundo ele, há alguns meses ele vem circulando no município e constatando a atual situação do município. “O Cabo de Santo Agostinho vem passando um momento muito difícil. A Saúde e a Educação sucateadas, os serviços públicos com grandes problemas e os escândalos de corrupção são frequentes” e completou “nos últimos meses venho sendo chamado pelos meus irmãos cabenses a me posicionar politicamente e ajudar a cidade onde nasci, cresci e à qual já governei por três vezes”, reforçou Gomes.
Com essa mudança, o tucano se projeta como pré-candidato ao Executivo Municipal. “Estou colocando minha experiência de mais de 40 anos de vida pública limpa, meu passado honesto, minha honradez e minha capacidade de unir as pessoas à disposição do povo cabense. O Cabo me chamou, meu coração ouviu e tomei a decisão de transferir meu Título de eleitor para a cidade que me projetou na política a mais de 40 anos e que sinto que precisa de minha contribuição nesse momento”, finalizou.
