Comunidade reúne músicos católicos em evento no Recife
Os cantores católicos Davidson Silva e Eliana Ribeiro se apresentam neste sábado (5), no evento “Celebra Porta Fidei”, no Colégio Vera Cruz, no bairro das Graças, área central do Recife. A festa marca a comemoração dos sete anos da Comunidade Católica Porta Fidei, começará às 9h e promete reunir jovens, adultos e membros das novas comunidades e paróquias da Arquidiocese de Olinda e Recife (AOR).
Além dos shows musicais, o evento contará com uma série de pregações, momentos de louvor e evangelização, adoração ao Santíssimo Sacramento, confissão, aconselhamento e a celebração da Santa Missa, que será presidida às 15h pelo arcebispo dom Fernando Saburido. O público que comparecer ao evento contará com uma praça de alimentação, além de barracas para venda de artigos religiosos e camisas religiosas.
A entrada é gratuita, porém a organização do “Celebra Porta Fidei” pede a doação de 1kg de alimento não perecível. Um caminhão baú ficará na entrada do local para que o público possa depositar suas doações no veículo. Ao término do evento, as doações serão encaminhadas para a Cáritas Arquidiocesana e depois destinadas aos atingidos pelas enchentes e deslizamentos causados pelas fortes chuvas de julho e agosto passado.
Comunidade
A Comunidade Católica Porta Fidei é um movimento cristão católico inserido na Arquidiocese de Olinda e Recife, constituída – em sua maioria – por jovens universitários. Atualmente, a sede da comunidade se encontra na cidade do Recife, onde funciona a Casa Porta Fidei.
Na Casa Porta Fidei são acolhidas aproximadamente cem famílias carentes que usufruem, de forma gratuita, de diversas atividades como: atendimentos médicos, psicológicos, fisioterápicos, nutricionais, fonoaudiológicos, aulas de balé, aulas de judô e aulas de pré-vestibular. Outros núcleos da Comunidade também podem ser encontrados nas cidades de Arcoverde-PE, Petrolina-PE e Sumé-PB.
