Compesa troca tubulações da rede de abastecimento na Avenida Cruz Cabugá
“A Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento (Compesa) está realizando um grande investimento para a modernização e melhoria operacional dos sistemas de abastecimento da cidade do Recife, por meio de ações como a troca de tubulações da rede de distribuição de água e implantação de válvulas e registros. Uma das obras em andamento beneficia os bairros da área central da cidade, como Santo Amaro, onde a Compesa está trabalhando agora para substituir uma rede de abastecimento na Avenida Cruz Cabugá, com quase 1.500 metros de extensão, entre a Avenida Norte e o Shopping Tacaruna. A previsão para concluir a troca de tubulações de ferro por PVC nesse trecho é dia 28 de fevereiro.
Os serviços são realizados sempre no período noturno, no horário das 22h às 5h, com o objetivo de reduzir o impacto dessa obra no trânsito da via, que apresenta um fluxo intenso de veículos. Para executar as intervenções, as duas faixas próximas ao passeio (sentido Boa Vista) são interditadas nesse período e, sempre ao final dos trabalhos, a vala é reaterrada e o material removido, para que a pista seja liberada totalmente para o tráfego de veículos para posterior serviços de pavimentação.
De acordo a gerente de Obras da Compesa, Roselene Carneiro, foi acordado entre a empresa e a coordenação de Trânsito da CTTU que a reposição asfáltica nesse trecho da Avenida Cruz Cabugá deverá ser feita a cada 150 metros de vala aberta. Essa determinação é necessária tendo em vista que o concreto betuminoso usinado a quente (CBUQ), material usado para a reposição asfáltica, só pode ser utilizado em grande volume.
Essa intervenção faz parte do Lote 1 das Obras de Setorização do Recife, que visam a melhoria da eficiência operacional dos sistemas de abastecimento e distribuição e água para vários bairros da cidade, entre eles, Ilha do Leite, Coelhos, Santo Amaro e Bairro do Recife, e recebe um investimento de R$ 10,6 milhões, recursos do FGTS/ Caixa Econômica Federal. As obras em curso no bairro de Santo Amaro irão beneficiar cerca de de 20 mil pessoas”.
