Cabo inaugura Centro de Referência de acolhimento a mulheres vítima de violência em Ponte dos Carvalhos
A Prefeitura do Cabo de Santo Agostinho, por intermédio da Secretaria Executiva da Mulher, inaugurou nesta quinta-feira (22) um novo espaço: o Centro de Referência Eudina Sobral, em Ponte dos Carvalhos. O objetivo é de prestar acolhimento e atendimento humanizado às mulheres em situação de violência, proporcionando assistência psicológica e social, além de orientação e encaminhamento jurídico necessários à superação da situação de violência.
A inauguração contou com a presença do prefeito do Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Keko do Armazém, da secretária Executiva da Mulher, Walkiria Alves, da delegada da Delegacia Especializada de atendimento à mulher, Maria do Socorro e representantes do Poder Legislativo e da comunidade de Ponte dos Carvalhos.
“O centro de proteção Eudina Sobral vem para acolher a mulher em situação de violência, promovendo assim ações educativas e preventivas, permitindo acesso à cidadania e aos direitos das mulheres”, disse Walkiria Alves.
Adilma Ferreira, de 57 anos, professora e hoje também empreendedora, ficou muito entusiasmada com o espaço. Ela já foi vítima de violência doméstica e exaltou a iniciativa.
“Todos os envolvidos estão de parabéns. Vou tirar bastante foto e divulgar para as mulheres saberem que aqui existe um lugar, onde a mulher pode ser acolhida. Coisa que na minha época não existia. Parabéns a todos”, afirmou.
