Anderson Ferreira acompanha construção de muro de contenção em Prazeres
Moradores da 1ª Travessa Expedito Lopes, no bairro de Prazeres, ficavam preocupados a cada novo inverno com as condições da barreira próxima às suas residências, mas agora a situação mudou e eles afirmam sentirem-se mais tranquilos devido ao início das obras realizadas pela Prefeitura do Jaboatāo dos Guararapes para construção do muro de contenção no local. Os trabalhos foram acompanhados de perto pelo prefeito Anderson Ferreira na manhã desta quinta-feira (20). O gestor ressaltou a importância de obras desse porte, que irão contemplar outros locais da cidade, com o objetivo de proteger imóveis e moradores nos períodos de chuvas.
Residente há 45 anos na 1ª Travessa Expedito Lopes, a dona de casa Ana Lúcia Maria do Nascimento agradeceu à prefeitura. “Desde que vim morar aqui nunca vi ninguém se preocupar com essa barreira. Agora, agradeço ao prefeito Anderson Ferreira por fazer essa obra com a graça e a vitória de Jesus. Está uma maravilha”, disse a moradora.
A obra vistoriada pelo prefeito Anderson Ferreira faz parte da mais recente liberação de recursos do Governo Federal, no total de R$ 4,8 milhões. A verba também será aplicada em projetos na Rua São Bento e no Alto da Esperança, no Jardim Jordão; na Rua Triunfo, em Vista Alegre; na Rua Joaquim Tenório, 3ª Travessa do Bom Jesus e Belém de Nazaré, em Cavaleiro. Além dos muros de contenção, outro será construído na Rua Alto Santa Izabel, em Jardim Monte Verde, um investimento de quase R$ 450 mil.
“Desde o início da nossa gestão investimos mais de R$ 20 milhões em muros de arrimo, instalação de telas de argamassa, redes de drenagem e na manutenção das encostas. Também aplicamos, todos os anos, mais de R$ 10 milhões na limpeza de canais, de canaletas e galerias, além de capinação e em serviços necessários na área de prevenção a riscos. E cada rua que é pavimentada é contemplada com rede drenagem”, ressaltou Anderson Ferreira, durante vistoria da construção do muro de contenção.
Antes de ir ao bairro de Jardim Jordão, o prefeito acompanhou a limpeza do Canal Miguel Arraes, serviço que integra a Operação Inverno do Jaboatāo dos Guararapes.
