Aluno do SENAI-PE conquista medalha de ouro nas seletivas nacionais e garante vaga na 46ª WorldSkills, maior competição mundial de profissões técnicas
Medalha de ouro no peito e uma vaga na 46ª WorldSkills, olimpíada mundial de profissões técnicas que ocorrerá no próximo mês de outubro, em Xangai. Esses foram os prêmios conquistados por Pedro Lucas Cavalcanti, 19 anos, aluno do curso técnico em Eletrotécnica do SENAI Areias, após uma semana intensa de disputas pela vaga brasileira na modalidade de Redes de Cabeamento Estruturado (#02). O anúncio da vitória ocorreu na tarde desta sexta-feira (28), na Casa da Indústria, durante a solenidade que marcou o encerramento desta etapa das Seletivas Nacionais em Pernambuco.
As seletivas nacionais para a ocupação Redes de Cabeamento Estruturado (#02) foram realizadas entre os dias 24 e 28 de janeiro, na escola técnica SENAI Santo Amaro. Pedro Lucas competiu pela vaga com o paulista Matheus Patrick e com o gaúcho Gabriel Przygodzinski, que conquistaram as medalhas de prata e bronze, respectivamente. Para definir o vencedor, os competidores precisaram executar cinco atividades específicas da área de cabeamento estruturado, a exemplo da montagem de fibras ópticas e da instalação de cabeamentos para casas inteligentes.
Pedro Lucas, que também é ex-aluno do SESI-PE, vem se preparando desde 2019 para participar das Seletivas Nacionais, sob a orientação da coordenadora da WorldSkills em Pernambuco, Julyana Leite. Para ele, o maior desafio foi manter o equilíbrio emocional ao longo de todas as provas. “O conhecimento técnico, todos nós tínhamos, eu me senti confiante a semana inteira, mas era necessário manter o psicológico bem. O sentimento é indescritível, porque eu não imaginaria que chegaria tão longe quando fui convidado a participar das seletivas”, afirmou.
Agora, ele terá mais nove meses de treinamentos intensivos até o mundial, marcado para ocorrer entre 12 e 17 de outubro. A preparação ocorrerá no Complexo Olímpico do SENAI Pernambuco, localizado na escola de Santo Amaro. O competidor será acompanhado de perto pela expert da modalidade no Brasil, Maria Priscianne, e ficará sob supervisão do Departamento Nacional do SENAI. O foco é conquistar uma medalha no mundial. “Continuarei treinando o máximo que eu puder com a nova equipe para conseguir chegar bem na China”, reforçou.
Para a diretora regional do SENAI-PE, Camila Barreto, a conquista de Pedro comprova a educação de excelência que é oferecida pelo SENAI-PE há quase oito décadas. Vale ressaltar que Pernambuco participa da WorldSkills desde 1997 e soma quatro medalhas na competição – uma de ouro, uma de prata e duas de bronze. “Uma medalha como essa comprova a qualidade do nosso ensino e abre portas no mercado de trabalho para nossos estudantes. Nós realmente acreditamos que a educação profissional pode fazer a diferença na vida dos nossos alunos – e investimos nisso”, comemorou.
Calendário das seletivas nacionais – Pernambuco ainda irá competir na fase nacional em mais quatro modalidades. Em março, os competidores de Desenho Mecânico em CAD (#05), Tecnologia Laboratorial Química (#52) e Tecnologia da Água (#55) seguirão para outros estados para disputarem uma vaga no mundial. Já o SENAI Santo Amaro receberá, no mesmo mês, a seletiva nacional da modalidade de Refrigeração e Ar-Condicionado (#38).
WorldSkills – A WorldSkills foi criada em 1950, após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, com o objetivo de incentivar os jovens a adquirirem os conhecimentos necessários para a reconstrução de um mundo assolado pelas guerras. O SENAI participa do evento desde 1983 e, a cada edição, o Brasil vem ganhando mais destaque na competição. As seletivas nacionais estão ocorrendo desde o mês de setembro, em diversos estados do país. No total, 279 competidores estão concorrendo a vagas na delegação brasileira, que participa do mundial em 56 ocupações da área da indústria, e sete da área de serviços.
Sistema FIEPE – Mantido pelo setor industrial, atua no desenvolvimento de soluções para trazer ainda mais competitividade ao segmento. Além do SENAI – que atua na formação profissional e oferece serviços de metrologia e ensaios, consultorias e inovação – conta ainda com a FIEPE, o SESI e o IEL. A Federação realiza a defesa de interesse do setor produtivo e contribui com o processo de internacionalização das indústrias. Pelo SESI-PE, são oferecidos serviços de saúde e educação básica para os industriários, familiares e comunidade geral. Já o IEL-PE foca na carreira profissional dos trabalhadores, desde a seleção de estagiários e profissionais, até a capacitação deles realizada pela sua Escola de Negócios.
