Não nos devemos vangloriar dos nossos feitos, porquanto a arrogância nos arrasta para o abismo. A humildade corajosa, aquela que sobrevive aos acicates da dor, revela os valores eternos do ser humano.
Em Sua Boa Nova, segundo Lucas, 17:10, Jesus aconselha: “Quando fizerdes tudo o que vos for mandado, dizei: Somos servos inúteis; fizemos apenas aquilo que é de nossa obrigação”.
Essa passagem do Santo Evangelho de Jesus demonstra, na verdade, que humildemente temos de cumprir a incumbência assumida perante o Pai Celeste. Este é o verdadeiro galardão: agirmos conforme se esperava de nós, de acordo com o programado em nossa Agenda Espiritual. Não há aplausos neste mundo que alcancem maior ressonância em nossas Almas do que a consciência espiritual tranquila pelo dever bem realizado. E essa postura em nada se compara com fraqueza ou ingenuidade. Já disse e reitero: a humildade é, acima de tudo, corajosa, e não pode jamais ser comparada com submissão (quando covarde), que, por sua vez, é justamente o oposto dos exemplos de destemor deixados por Jesus.
Lembremo-nos sempre das sábias palavras do padre Antônio Vieira (Espírito), estudadas nestas pregações e belamente apresentadas no rádio pelo saudoso Irmão Alziro Zarur (1914-1979). Para o deleite de vocês, transcrevo trechos da imorredoura página do inspirado vate português:
A HUMILDADE
“Nada há tão grande quanto a humildade. A humildade vence todas as tiranias, destrói todas as dificuldades. A humildade é irmã gêmea da persistência, filha dileta da força.
Quantos humildes tens visto cair?
Nenhum.
E quantos engrandecidos tens visto precipitados do pedestal onde, orgulhosos, se supunham eternos?
Nem eu sei.
Humilde nasceu Jesus; humilde viveu e humilde passou no mundo. E não há maior grandeza do que essa humildade. De todos os grandes da Terra, em todos os séculos dos séculos, nenhum se Lhe compara.
E dentre esses grandes ainda são relativamente grandes só os que foram humildes e Lhe seguiram o exemplo.
Só os que na humilhação encontraram grandeza, como só em Jesus encontraram humildade.
O Filho dileto de Deus podia ser o maior da Terra [socialmente falando], visto que Ele era o representante, o escolhido, o eleito do Senhor do Universo. Podia, mas não foi. Podia, mas não quis ser. Não quis ser porque não devia. (…)
Quis ser humilde entre os humildes; simples entre os simples (…)”.

Quando Deus reconhece humildade no Espírito, revela-lhe os Seus maiores segredos. Perante nossa dedicação sincera, o Pai Celestial jamais nos abandonará, pois o Cristo, que não profere palavras vãs, proclama no Evangelho, segundo Mateus, 6:33, e Lucas, 12:31, a Sua Lei Econômica, que decididamente ampara, espiritual e materialmente, os servidores da Seara Divina: “Buscai primeiramente o Reino de Deus e Sua Justiça, e todas as coisas materiais vos serão acrescentadas”.
Aliás, Zarur definia essa passagem bíblica como “A Fórmula Urgentíssima de Jesus”, que considero ser a Lei Econômica Urgentíssima do Supremo Comandante da Terra, o principal pilar da Economia da Solidariedade Espiritual e Humana, que há décadas pregamos. A Fórmula do Cristo é valiosíssimo preceito que impulsiona e ilumina os Estatutos Superiores da Esperança e da Paz, que só podem vicejar onde imperam a Verdade e o Amor, a Humildade e o Bem.
