Filha do Agreste, como costuma dizer, a candidata a deputada federal Isabella de Roldão prestigiou neste fim de semana a Festa de 94 anos de Emancipação Política de São Joaquim do Monte, que já foi distrito de Bonito. “Nasci no Recife, mas meu pai, Roldão Joaquim, e minha mãe, Dalva, são dessa cidade amada, onde tenho minhas raízes e de onde guardo parte das minhas melhores memórias da infância e da adolescência”, conta Isabella.
Na noite da sexta-feira, Isabella se confraternizou com a população de São Joaquim durante os shows de Conde Só Brega, Priscila Senna e Raphaela Santos, no Pátio de Eventos João Tenório. Também cantou e dançou ao som de “Alvejante” e outro hits.
Já na manhã do sábado, foi a vez de percorrer as ruas de São Joaquim e conversar com lojistas do comércio local. “Onde eu estiver, o Agreste estará representado por mim. Como deputada federal, quero trabalhar pelo desenvolvimento da nossa região”, disse a candidata, que também reuniu moradoras e moradores, amigos, familiares e apoiadores para um momento de escuta sobre as demandas de São Joaquim do Monte. “Sempre venho a essa terra quando me lanço em um novo desafio. É um momento em que busco as minhas raízes, reflito sobre onde estou e aonde quero chegar para fazer da política instrumento de transformação social.”
No início do mês, Isabella de Roldão já havia estado em São Joaquim para acompanhar a 29ª Romaria do Frei Damião, festa religiosa que frequenta desde adolescente, como devota do frade capuchinho.
