Fábrica clandestina de cachaça é interditada em São Lourenço da Mata
Unidade falsificava bebida com rótulos de uma marca conhecida no mercado
Uma fábrica clandestina de cachaça foi interditada nesta quinta-feira, em São Lourenço da Mata, na Zona da Mata de Pernambuco. A ação integrada foi realizada pela Polícia Militar (PM), Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) e pelo Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA).
A ação teve início com um levantamento de informações dos núcleos de Inteligência da PM e PRF, que identificaram a edificação no bairro Marubara, que fica às margens da BR 408. A unidade produzia cerca de 1800 litros de cachaça por semana, e envasava o produto em garrafas com rótulos falsos de uma empresa de bebidas.
No local foram detidas seis pessoas, entre elas um homem suspeito de ser o proprietário da empresa. A fábrica foi multada e interditada pelo MAPA e a produção das bebidas foi suspensa.
Os homens foram encaminhados à Delegacia de Polícia Civil da região, para a continuidade dos procedimentos legais.
