From Brasília, the capital of Brazil.
According to the theory of knowledge, the writer John Milton Gregory says that teaching has several “laws” that govern it.
Addressing the post-crisis situation of the 2008-2009 global crisis, Mohamed Aly El-Erian says in his book “The Only Game in Town” (p. Xv, xx):
“The global financial crisis that shook virtually every country, government and family in the world in 2008-09 has given way to a frustrating” new normal “of low growth, growing inequality, political dysfunction and, in some cases, social tensions, all despite massive political interventions by central banks and transformative technological innovations.
In living this world, most of us have seen a set of unusual, if not improbable, changes, directly or indirectly, in the past. It is a phenomenon that is felt on several levels. And, so far, this is all just the beginning.
In the years to come, this extremely fluid world we live in is likely to take us further out of our comfort zones; and will challenge us to respond accordingly. And we shouldn’t expect governments to make things better.”
Among the laws of education, I will use the “Recapitulation and Application” to remember, in this episode that marks the “beginning of the end”, that the expression “new normal” is directly related to:
1 — the impacts of low growth;
2 — the growth of inequality;
3 — policy malfunction; and
4 — social tensions.
Keep in mind that this “new normal” defended by Mohamed A. El-Erian, has nothing to do with another of the great extinctions of the species on planet Earth(one of them killed the dinosaurs), despite the desire of the prophets of the apocalypse existing on politics, religion and Media. Those four items, I listed in, belong to daily life.
If the end of the world happened, if the plagues of the COVIDIAN apocalypse happened, which I guarantee with certainty that 103% will not happen, the joy of these people would not be in the supposed warning that they are offering to humanity, but in the misfortune of others.
The orgasm of all political opposition.
Immediately understand that for the opposition political classes, whether left or right, the worse the better! It is creating chaos that sets the stage for the next election.
Do you know of that fateful situation where one spouse (husband or wife) kills the other out of jealousy and says, “If you don’t stay with me, you won’t be with anyone else!”
As well! Here is a good analogy with political opposition and power, with those who imagine themselves “forever married”, not wanting to accept that “always” is finite.
Power is so good, so good, so tasty, that when a current of opposition loses it, it does everything possible to destroy those who conquered it.
And the nation, and the people, how is it, for these political classes? Well, the nation, damn it! They don’t say that in front of the cameras, but when the microphones are off, when they are alone …
The orgasm of some religious people.
The religious orgasm lives, for some religious, in end of the world, which, they say, will occur when the “beast” of the apocalypse spill their bowls of anger and destroy the Earth with fire and brimstone.
But why do they feed this desire for the end? Theologically, the end of “sinners” like me and some of you who read me, represents the survival of the “pure in heart”.
These same “pure in heart” who will be led to live in heaven, where there are streets of gold and glass, where the “saved” will live forever praising God in corals ruled by seraphim angels, or cherubs, or simply, where they can have 72 fragrant virgins, who will serve men, all lying on their cushions, the color of gold, in a heavenly perpetuation, of the old machismo dominant on Earth, represent a few fortunate people who will escape from hell.
Just so you have a slight idea of what I am saying, the end of the world is so desired in various religions and sects, that believers have already done the most diverse follies to anticipate their arrival in heaven. Do you want a shortlist? Here are some facts, easy to find on the Internet:
1 — In 1978, 909 people, including 304 children, all followers of the north-American pastor Jim Jones, took poison and died, all because he wanted to go to heaven to find God;
2 — In 1830, a Scottish lady named Margaret McDonald declared that the Welsh socialist Robert Owen was the Antichrist, already incarnated and preparing the boat, to install his kingdom on Earth;
3 — In the 19th century, the American William Miller, founder of a religious movement called “Millerism”, said that Jesus Christ would return to Earth, between March 1843 and 1844, to snatch Christians and take them to heaven;
4 — Even in the 19th century, Mrs. Ellen G. White, founder of Seventh-day Adventism, predicted that the apocalypse would occur and that the world would not pass until the year 1850. As the horses of the apocalypse did not laugh, she remade the calculations and predicted that six years after (in 1856) the first disaster of his prediction, the apocalypse would occur. Until today, nothing …
5 — In 1891, “the beast was on the loose,” because it was up to the Mormon, Joseph Smith, founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to make his prediction of the apocalypse.
In February 1835, he held a solemn meeting at his church, which was attended by the corps of workers and the faithful. He told everyone that Jesus Christ would return to take them to heaven and that this would happen any day within the next 56 years.
Let me do the math: 1835 + 56 years = 1891. Subtract: 2020 – 1891 = 129. So, 129 years have passed since that last “psychosis” for the return of Jesus. Now go to him, nobody wants!
The strange thing, in this religious yearning for the return of Jesus, is the veiled feeling of revenge against the sinners. No one wants Jesus to save everyone, only the faithful! “And that everything else, go to hell,” as Roberto Carlos says.
And, even more, you can see that behind the desire for the return of Jesus, who is a loving God, and who got along well with prostitutes, with thieves, with the “ardent” Peter, who for any offense “soon ” would cut the ear of any soldier who threatened his master, which is an extreme desire for revenge.”
What we really have is selfishness, a deep and lasting orgasm in the disgrace of someone who is different, thinks differently and acts differently, than those who consider themselves the solution, the purity, the virtue itself.
Keep in mind that I am not saying that Jesus Christ will not return, that being pure is bad, or that being a sinner leads to hell. What I’m trying to say is that if we learned to respect differences, we would live better.
Next Saturday, The End!
