Day 5 – FRIDAY.
Today I woke up at 6:30 am, made breakfast, woke up the children, welcomed my niece for another morning of studies.
I went to the park at 7:30 am and walked until 8:30 am. I went to the market near the house to buy snacks for the children, took a shower, organized the house.
At 10 am I entered the YouTube page of UNIEB for the EAP – Articulated Pedagogical Meeting of Educational Orientation (collective training meeting and sectorized meetings). On this day, UNIEB promoted the lecture “Valuing Life”, by Estevão Rolim, doctor and professor of medicine at University of Brasília. The great learning moment ended at 12:30.
While preparing lunch, I finished watching the lecture.
At 2:00 pm I began to plan the conference of the Educational Advisors in Emotional Education. Investigation of materials and preparation of slides.
At 4 in the afternoon, I went to the clinic to start the Psychoanalysis sessions that begin in the afternoon. The dates were until 7 pm and then I went to a restaurant to meet my sister for a quick happy hour.
At 10 pm I got home and watched a movie with my family and then went to sleep. Zzzzzzz
DAY 6 – SATURDAY.
I woke up a little later, at 7:30 am, and got ready to go to the park. I took my children and our puppy for a walk, and then we took him to bathe him in the pet shop. It was a very pleasant morning.
At 10 in the morning, I started a paid 360º Online Coaching Course, with the aim of improving my practice in Human Development, which took place throughout the weekend, at noon, and culminating at 8 pm.
After that moment, I took a shower, stayed home with my family, opened a wine, ordered a pizza at delivery, watched a comedy movie. I slept after midnight. Zzzzzz
DAY 7 – SUNDAY.
At 06:40 I woke up, took a shower, and went to church to attend Sunday mass at 7:30 am. After mass, I went home, made breakfast, and at 10 am I started the second day of the 360 live online coaching course.
At 1:00 pm the lunch break began, which lasted until 2:30 pm. I had lunch with my family, cleaned the kitchen from lunch. I took 15 minutes for a quick nap and went back to the course, finishing at 7 pm.
At 7:30 pm I helped my children with homework, in the “chemistry” discipline, until 8:40 pm and I finished our Sunday with a snack.
Before going to sleep, I finished preparing the slides for the Education Advisors talk and organized the referrals for the class council week that would begin this Monday.
I want to end this diary by adding the extra page for Monday DAY-8 and extending throughout the week that the school class council was held, divided into shifts starting at 8 in the morning where all the teachers of the 6th-grade classes at 9 years old, they met on Google Meet to share their difficulties with the direction, coordination, and Educational Guidance, carrying out student tasks and carrying out activities, I realized that many times the “internet” of some teachers fall, disconnects, configuring that this challenge also occurred in virtual classrooms with students. I repeat that this is the Brazilian “internet”. They promise all kinds of packages that don’t fall off and don’t crash and in the end, they fall and crash all the time! The service is expensive and the quality is terrible!
The week was very exhausting, but productive, with all the actions of each school segment recorded and deliberate so that the mission of teaching was fulfilled even in the face of great challenges and significant changes in this new educational environment.
Dear diary, I know that in a few years this pandemic period will be analyzed by history as a time of exception lived by humanity. I will leave these records on board and open my time capsule, about the forced restart that COVID-19 gave in our lives and in the process of education and teaching …
THE END.
