Professor PhD in Law and Social Sciences, as Federal Prosecutor of the Attorney General of the Union, in Brazil, Judivan Vieira dedicated part of his life to fighting corruption.
They were twenty-six years in the profession of Federal Prosecutor, eleven of which were continuously involved in administrative proceedings against public servants suspected of misconduct and acts of corruption with public money.
From this phase, several books were written, such as: disciplinary administrative process and the espionage novel inspired by experiences within the subject.
However, it is the “Encylopedia Corruption in the World” (editions in Portuguese and English), a work composed of five books with different scientific perspectives on corruption, and let’s say, the first and only encyclopedia in the world on the subject, carried by Professor Judivan Vieira, our columnist from Pernambuco em Foco, to compete for the most significant award in the world: “Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Anticorruption Excellence Award”, awarded in DOHA / QATAR, in partnership with the United Nations (UN).
The award aims to uphold the importance of fighting corruption and encourage the implementation of the crucial measures established by the United Nations Convention against Corruption through the collection and dissemination of creative and notable achievements in anti-corruption projects, publicly rewarding and honoring related outstanding efforts.
Professor Doctor Judivan Vieira, our columnist since August 30, 2018, has 16 books published in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. His seventeenth book will be published this semester, with the title: “From apocalyptic alarmism to social and economic resurgence – Utopian world, dystopian world”, which will be released by Chiadobooks, in Portugal and Brazil, and by Publishway.es, in Spain and for all Spanish-speaking countries.
The author was awarded three times in the United States of North America, the first prize in New York and twice in Los Angeles, for novels, a thriller in fiction and espionage, and a self-development book, a work that relates a bit of his biography of the son of a bricklayer, for whom nobody gave anything, who left the interior of Paraíba to suffer, but also to win, in the capital of Brazil, to build a career as an international writer and now compete for the “Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani-2020 Anticorruption Excellence Award”, awarded in DOHA / QATAR, in partnership with the United Nations (UN).
Congratulations professor and our columnist on your nomination for the world’s most significant award, in the fight against corruption with public money. But also because he is the simple person who knows that he places the human being above the more than seventy significant degrees that he has.
