Semana do Patrimônio Cultural traz debate sobre preservação em tempos de pandemia

Evento promovido pela Secult/Fundarpe terá todas as ações transmitidas virtualmente, em plataformas como Instagram, Youtube, Google Meet e no Portal Cultura.PE

Com o tema “Janelas do Patrimônio: Novos Olhares, Estratégias e Conexões”, o Governo de Pernambuco, por meio da Secretaria Estadual de Cultura (Secult-PE) e Fundação do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico de Pernambuco (Fundarpe), promove, de 17 a 22 de agosto, a 13ª Semana do Patrimônio Cultural de Pernambuco. O tema da décima terceira edição do evento propõe uma reflexão sobre o patrimônio cultural do Estado nesse momento que atravessa a humanidade, e terá todas as suas ações transmitidas virtualmente, nos canais @culturape no Instagram e Youtube, além de atividades no Google Meet – com as salas divulgadas ao longo da Semana – e do Portal Cultura.PE (www.cultura.pe.gov.br).

Além dos 11 municípios pernambucanos envolvidos (Água Preta, Arcoverde, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Caruaru, Fernando de Noronha, Ilha de Itamaracá, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Olinda, Recife, Santa Maria da Boa Vista e São Joaquim do Monte), as atividades contam parceiros como o Cais do Sertão e o Paço do Frevo. Na próxima segunda-feira (17), antes da abertura oficial, às 14h, serão anunciados pelo canal youtube.com/secultpe os nomes dos vencedores do 5º Prêmio Ayrton de Almeida de Carvalho, premiação voltada para a preservação do patrimônio cultural de Pernambuco. Participam desse momento Gilberto Freyre Neto, secretário de Cultura de Pernambuco; Marcelo Canuto, presidente da Fundarpe; e Renata Borba, superintendente do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico de Pernambuco (Iphan-PE).

Em seguida, será transmitida no mesmo canal a webconferência de abertura, que vai contar com a participação de Antonio Augusto Arantes Neto, professor de Antropologia da UNICAMP (SP) e responsável pela linha de pesquisa “Patrimônio e Memória” do Programa de Doutorado em Ciências Sociais da UNICAMP, além do secretário Gilberto Freyre Neto.

JANELAS COMO TEMA – Neste momento em que a humanidade vive um dos períodos mais difíceis da sua história recente, um exercício tão comum se tornou um símbolo que ficará marcado na memória coletiva. O “estar na janela” será lembrado como registro do desafio e coragem tão necessários no enfrentamento ao surto da doença causada pelo novo coronavírus.

De acordo com Gilberto Freyre Neto, uma das importâncias do tema da 13ª edição do evento, neste momento atual, se dá porque, “além do patrimônio cultural, o turismo e a cultura necessitarão de ações que os ajudem a minimizar os impactos causados pela pandemia, requerendo novos olhares e estratégias para enfrentar as dificuldades e desafios”.

Para o presidente da Fundarpe, Marcelo Canuto, “na busca em obter novos olhares, estratégias e conexões, se faz necessário um debate sobre o patrimônio cultural neste momento de pandeia. O tema da preservação dos nossos bens materiais e imateriais precisa estar em evidência sempre”.

Gerente de Preservação Cultural, Célia Campos ressalta que durante as 12 últimas edições, o evento integrou inúmeros parceiros, com destaque para os gestores municipais. “O desafio de realizar a Semana de modo virtual foi aceito pela equipe e pelos parceiros. A descentralização das ações e a capilaridade das redes sociais possibilitarão maior conexão e enriquecimento das reflexões e debates”.

Segundo Renata Echeverria, coordenadora da Semana do Patrimônio Cultural, o tema da 13ª Semana do Patrimônio Cultural de Pernambuco surge “com a necessidade de se criar outros canais de diálogo que vão além do presencial, por meio de plataformas virtuais, possibilitando e potencializando novos olhares, estratégias e conexões para a preservação e manutenção do patrimônio cultural”.

Idealizada pela Fundarpe em 2008, a partir de encontros para elaboração do Plano Estadual de Cultura, a Semana estabelece diálogos interdisciplinares entre diversas instituições com o objetivo de compreender, difundir, valorizar, reconhecer, preservar e salvaguardar o Patrimônio Cultural dos 185 municípios pernambucanos.

A data da realização foi escolhida em comemoração ao Dia Nacional do Patrimônio Histórico, 17 de agosto, aniversário de Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, criador do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN.

Em 2018, a iniciativa foi contemplada com o Prêmio Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, na Categoria II – Iniciativas de excelência no campo do Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial.
