Procon Jaboatão disponibiliza intérprete de Libras em audiências entre consumidores e empresas
A partir desta segunda-feira (6), a população surda do município do Jaboatão dos Guararapes, na Região Metropolitana, passou a contar com mais uma ferramenta de apoio na busca por inclusão social. O Procon Jaboatão realizou, pela primeira vez, uma audiência de conciliação entre uma consumidora surda e representantes de uma empresa do ramo varejista, com a participação de um profissional intérprete de Libras, a Língua Brasileira de Sinais. A ação aconteceu na tarde de hoje, na sede da Regional 6, no bairro de Piedade.
O serviço é gratuito e pode ser solicitado pelo consumidor durante o primeiro atendimento junto ao Procon Jaboatão. “Estamos trabalhando para promover a inclusão social dos consumidores do nosso município. Nossa gestão acredita que todos devem ter acesso irrestrito aos serviços oferecidos pela prefeitura e essa é mais uma iniciativa criada para alcançar essa meta”, explicou José Rangel, superintendente do Procon Jaboatão.
