*“POLÍCIA FEDERAL COM APOIO OPERACIONAL DA SECRETARIA DE DEFESA SOCIAL DO DISTRITO FEDERAL E DE PERNAMBUCO – REALIZA A ERRADICAÇÃO DE CERCA DE 330 MIL PÉS DE MACONHA E EVITA A PRODUÇÃO DE 110 TONELADAS DA DROGA DENTRO DA “OPERAÇÃO MACAMBIRA III”*
A Polícia Federal através de sua Delegacia em Salgueiro/PE e com apoio operacional da Secretaria de Defesa Social do Distrito Federal e de Pernambuco vem promovendo ações de identificação e consequente erradicação de plantios de maconha no sertão pernambucano. Tais medidas fazem parte das estratégias adotadas pela Coordenação-Geral de Prevenção e Repressão a Entorpecentes-CGPRE, Órgão Central da Polícia Federal em Brasília/DF, com o objetivo de reduzir a produção e oferta de maconha no sertão Pernambucano. A Operação Macambira III, contou com um efetivo de mais de 60 policiais entre federais e militares/DF e PE (Corpo de Bombeiros/PE). Os policias trabalharam com incursões terrestres, aéreas e fluviais e contou com o apoio de 03 (três) aeronaves sendo 02 (duas) Aeronaves da CAOP-Coordenação de Aviação Operacional da Polícia Federal e 01 (uma) da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal, além botes infláveis e ambulância do Corpo de Bombeiros/PE.
Desta vez foi concluída a terceira operação de erradicação e destruição dos plantios de maconha no Sertão Pernambucano nos dias compreendidos de 06 a 14 de setmebro/2018 – dentro da “Operação Macambira III” onde conseguiu-se erradicar e destruir cerca de 330 mil pés de maconha, 149 plantios, 93 mil mudas da planta e apreender 1.200Kg (uma tonelada e duzentos quilos) de maconha pronta para o consumo. Os plantios foram localizados através de levantamentos feitos pela Polícia Federal em algumas ilhas dos Rio São Francisco e na Região de Orocó/PE, Cabrobó/PE, Belém do São Francisco/PE e Santa Maria da Boa Vista/PE, bem como em áreas de caatinga em Salgueiro/PE, Carnaubeira da Penha/PE, Serra Talhada/PE, Betânia/PE, Parnamirim/PE, Ibó/PE e Floresta/PE.
O ciclo produtivo da cannabis é acompanhado de perto por policiais federais e quando vai se aproximando o período da colheita novas ações são realizadas coibindo assim a secagem e a consequente introdução no mercado consumidor (pontos de vendas de drogas). As constantes operações policiais de erradicação de maconha no sertão de Pernambuco, não tem dado tempo ao traficante daquela região em produzir a droga em seu pleno desenvolvimento, o que tem levado a importação da droga do Paraguai. Isto também está demonstrado pelo aumento das apreensões feitas pela Polícia Federal de maconha vinda daquele país vizinho. *CASO OS 330 MIL PÉS DE MACONHA FOSSEM COLHIDOS E PRENSADOS DARIA PARA SE FAZER 110 TONELADAS DE MACONHA!* Assim com essas operações consecutivas a Polícia Federal contribui significativamente para o desabastecimento dos pontos de venda de droga em nosso estado como também em outros estados da região nordeste, evitando assim a escalada da violência tais como: assaltos, furtos, homicídios, assassinatos, acertos de contas, porque geralmente essas ocorrências giram em torno do tráfico de drogas. Cada ponto de venda de droga desabastecido, significa um foco a menos de violência.
