Polícia erradica 6,5 mil pés de maconha no Sertão de Pernambuco
Equipamentos utilizados na irrigação e no cultivo das plantações, além de 66,4 milmudas foram destruídos
Cerca de 6,5 mil pés de maconha foram erradicados pela polícia nesta terça-feira (07), em duas roças localizadas no município de Lagoa Grande, no Sertão de Pernambuco.
Juntas, as plantações poderiam produzir 500 quilos do entorpecente. O flagrante foi realizado durante a Operação Macambira III, que integra a Operação Lábaro. Participaram da ação representantes da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) especializados no combate ao crime em área de Caatinga, Departamento de Repressão ao Narcotráfico da Polícia Civil (Denarc) e Batalhão Especializado de Policiamento do Interior da Polícia Militar (Bepi).
Ao receberem informações do helicóptero da PRF de que havia duas roças com características semelhantes às que cultivam "cannabis sativa", as equipes foram até o local indicado, no povoado de Vermelhos. Além dos pés de maconha, foram destruídos 66,4 mil mudas da planta e equipamentos utilizados na irrigação e no cultivo das plantações.
Os policiais realizaram buscas na região, mas nenhum suspeito foi encontrado. No sábado (04), haviam sido erradicados 6 mil pés de maconha no município de Cabrobó, também no Sertão, que poderiam produzir 450 quilos do entorpecente.
A ocorrência foi acompanhada pelo delegado da 12ª DENARC, Dark Blacker, que irá investigar os responsáveis pelo cultivo das plantas.
Operação Lábaro
A Operação Lábaro tem o objetivo de fortalecer o policiamento ostensivo nas rodovias federais e áreas de interesse da União, por meio de ações coordenadas de segurança viária e de combate ao crime.
Alinhada aos objetivos estratégicos da PRF e com duração prevista até o fim de 2019, a iniciativa visa reduzir a violência no trânsito por meio de ações de fiscalização e de educação para o trânsito, além de aumentar a percepção de segurança e realizar o enfrentamento ao crime de forma intensa, utilizando a estratégia de policiamento orientado por inteligência.
