Paixão de Cristo de José Pimentel será encenada em Olinda
O espetáculo da Paixão de Cristo idealizado por José Pimentel, tradicionalmente apresentado no Marco Zero, será encenado em Olinda. A mudança foi confirmada pela filha do ator e dramaturgo, Lilian Pimentel, após a Prefeitura do Recife anunciar que a peça “Jesus, a Luz do Mundo”, da Associação dos Produtores de Artes Cênicas de Pernambuco (Apacepe), ocupará o espaço no Bairro do Recife.
Como o nome de “Paixão de Cristo José Pimentel”, a montagem será encenada entre os dias 18 e 21 de abril, na Praça do Carmo. “A cidade Patrimônio Histórico e Cultural da Humanidade está recebendo de braços abertos a obra de um Patrimônio Vivo de Pernambuco. Papai já tinha apresentado o espetáculo lá e tinha o sonho de voltar. Encontrei todo o apoio da Prefeitura”, compartilha Lilian, que também é produtora da peça.
Ainda de acordo com Lilian, a montagem contará com novidades, que serão reveladas durante coletiva de imprensa, nesta quinta-feira (11). O papel de Jesus Cristo segue com o ator Hemerson Moura, escolhido pelo próprio Pimentel, que faleceu em agosto do ano passado. A direção fica por conta do encenador José Francisco Filho, preservando o texto original.
