Nota- Senador Armando Monteiro recebe comenda em Brasília
O senador e ex-ministro do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Indústria e Comércio Exterior (MDIC), Armando Monteiro, recebeu das mãos do presidente Michel Temer, em Brasília, a comenda Ordem Nacional Barão de Mauá como reconhecimento pelo trabalho que produziu em favor do desenvolvimento do país, estimulando os setores da indústria, o comércio exterior e os serviços. O atual ministro do MDIC, Marcos Jorge, e o general Joaquim Silva e Luna também participaram da solenidade ontem (12), pela manhã no Palácio do Planalto.
A Ordem Nacional Barão de Mauá é uma ordem honorífica brasileira que tem por finalidade condecorar pessoas físicas ou jurídicas nacionais e estrangeiras que tenham prestado relevantes contribuições à indústria, ao comércio exterior e aos serviços do País. A comenda é uma homenagem ao Barão de Mauá e foi criada pelo decreto nacional nº 9.549, sancionado pelo presidente Michel Temer no dia 31 de outubro de 2018 e publicado no Diário Oficial da União na edição de 1 de novembro de 2018.
