A Secretaria de Cultura e a Fundação de Cultura Cidade do Recife recebem com muito pesar a notícia da perda de André Madureira. Um artista que fez da vida uma aula de amor à cultura recifense.
“André sempre acreditou na arte como transformação, soube preservar e renovar tradições, assim reuniu passado e futuro, por meio da dança”, declarou o secretário de cultura do Recife, Ricardo Mello.
Talento de artista e vocação de líder, André Madureira fez história com o Balé Popular do Recife. Além de Patrimônio Vivo de Pernambuco, tornou-se um símbolo de dedicação, perseverança, inovação.
“Ele é um exemplo para todos e uma inspiração para quem faz da Cultura seu ofício e paixão, com ele a cidade deu passos que nunca serão esquecidos”, completou Mello.
