Jaboatão inicia vacinação contra Covid-19 de trabalhadores da limpeza urbana e pessoas em situação de rua
Trabalhadores do setor de limpeza urbana do Jaboatão dos Guararapes e pessoas em situação de rua no município começaram a ser imunizados, nesta quinta-feira (10), contra o novo coronavírus. A vacinação dos dois grupos prioritários, definida pelo Plano Nacional de Operacionalização (PNO) do Ministério da Saúde, foi acompanhada de perto pelo prefeito Anderson Ferreira, que na noite de ontem (9), anunciou a abertura do cadastramento para pessoas com idade a partir dos 50 anos.
A vacinação de pessoas em situação de rua vai ser feita até a próxima terça-feira (15) no Centro Pop do bairro de Prazeres, e no Ginásio Esportivo Reginaldo Montenegro, em Jaboatão Centro. O público é formado por cerca de 400 pessoas que são devidamente cadastradas e atendidas pela Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social e Cidadania.
Já os trabalhadores da limpeza urbana serão vacinados nos nove pontos montados pela prefeitura em toda a cidade. Ao todo, serão imunizados mais de mil profissionais do setor. “A cada dia estamos conseguindo avançar em nossa campanha e levar as doses a mais pessoas em menos tempo. Abrimos o cadastramento para o público com idade a partir de 50 anos e a vacinação se inicia já sábado (12), quando quatro unidades de saúde passarão a reforçar o atendimento”, explicou o prefeito Anderson Ferreira.
