Jaboatão começa campanha de multivacinação e vacinação contra a poliomielite
A Secretaria de Saúde da Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes, em parceria com o Ministério da Saúde, realiza até o dia 30 de outubro a Campanha Nacional de Vacinação Contra Poliomielite, Sarampo e Multivacinação, para atualizar a situação vacinal de crianças e adolescentes de até 15 anos. A meta da gestão municipal é vacinar 95% deste público-alvo, contribuindo assim para a redução do risco de transmissão de doenças imunopreveníveis no município. As Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS), Unidades de Saúde da Família (USF) e Policlínicas disponibilizam diariamente as vacinas, das 8h às 15h, com intervalo para o almoço. A secretária municipal de Saúde do Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Zelma Pessoa, ressalta que, durante o período da campanha, o serviço de vacinação será reforçado.
“Esta é uma maneira de oportunizar o acesso às vacinas, atualizar a situação vacinal e contribuir para o controle e eliminação dessas doenças. Serão ofertadas todas as vacinas do calendário básico de vacinação da criança, do adolescente, do idoso, do adulto e da gestante. Pretendemos, com esta ação, reduzir as taxas de abandono do esquema vacinal.O município também disponibiliza vacinação em área descoberta, que é realizada em alguma associação, igreja ou escola, sempre em regionais diferentes, para atender uma grande quantidade de pessoas. Nós contamos com a participação de todos”, ressaltou a gestora.
O grupo alvo da vacinação contra a poliomielite são as crianças de um ano e menores de cinco anos. Já na Campanha contra o Sarampo, são pessoas de 20 a 49 anos, independente da situação vacinal. Na Multivacinação, o público-alvo são as crianças e adolescentes menores de 15 anos de idade.
