GRUPOS DISLUB EQUADOR E VITOL COMUNICAM ASSOCIAÇÃO ESTRATÉGICA
Empresa holandesa, que está entre as maiores traders de derivados de petróleo do mundo, vai se unir ao Grupo Dislub Equador, que tem mais de 430 postos de combustíveis nas Regiões Norte, Nordeste e Centro-Oeste. Operação foi protocolada hoje no CADE.
O Grupo Dislub Equador (GDE), uma das maiores distribuidoras de derivados de petróleo independentes do País, abastecendo cerca de 430 postos bandeirados e outros clientes nas Regiões Norte, Nordeste e Centro-Oeste; e a Vitol, maior empresa independente de trading de energia e commodities de petróleo de atuação global com investimentos em companhias do setor energético, mais de 6.500 postos de abastecimento e várias refinarias, anunciam hoje que iniciarão o processo de associação e atuação conjunta no Brasil. Como parte do acordo, uma vez aprovado pelos órgãos reguladores e parceiros de ambas as empresas, o GDE e a Vitol terão cada uma 50% das ações do grupo.
A expectativa é consolidar a posição do GDE, hoje a sexta maior rede de postos do mercado com vendas de 1,4 bilhão de litros por ano. A parceria com a Vitol – com média de 7,4 milhões de barris negociados por dia – proporcionará maior capacidade de investimento, reforço na gestão e acesso a novos canais de suprimento, permitindo ganhos competitivos a seus clientes. A operação fortalece a GDE e a prepara para enfrentar os desafios do mercado brasileiro que está em fase de grande transformação e se tornará muito mais competitivo.
Com forte presença regional, o Grupo Dislub Equador possui postos em 15 estados e detém mais de 210.000 metros cúbicos de tancagem utilizados para importação e distribuição de derivados e biocombustíveis para seus clientes. “Este é um grande passo para o GDE, a transação viabilizará nossa consolidação nos territórios que operamos e trará mais competitividade para enfrentar os desafios que virão”, afirma Sergio Lins, acionista do Grupo Dislub Equador.
Russell Hardy, CEO da Vitol, acrescenta: “Estamos confiantes com o potencial do Brasil. O Grupo Dislub Equador tem uma forte presença nas regiões que apresentam crescimento mais rápido do Brasil e está bem posicionado para atender o mercado interno. A intenção de formalizar a associação aguarda a aprovação das entidades reguladoras e a expectativa é que seja concluída durante o quarto trimestre”.
