Escola Municipal Natividade Saldanha, do Jaboatão, terá modelo cívico-militar em 2020
A Escola Municipal Natividade Saldanha, localizada no bairro de Cajueiro Seco, no Jaboatão dos Guararapes, foi selecionada pelo critério de vulnerabilidade social, nesta terça-feira (26), para integrar a lista das 54 unidades de ensino público que irão compor o Programa Nacional das Escolas Cívico-Militares do Governo Federal. Jaboatão é o único município pernambucano a ser contemplado pelo programa, que prevê investimentos de R$ 1 milhão ao longo do próximo ano. O projeto será implantado já no início do ano letivo de 2020, que começará na primeira semana de fevereiro. Os atuais alunos terão matrícula automática e as vagas para os novatos serão abertas a partir do dia 16 de dezembro.
A decisão foi tomada consultando alunos maiores de 16 anos, pais ou responsáveis e funcionários da escola. A votação foi por aclamação. Os recursos serão repassados pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) para serem aplicados em obras de infraestrutura, como construção de cinco salas de aula, reformas na quadra coberta, refeitório, banheiros e biblioteca, além da implantação do projeto de climatização do prédio.
O prefeito Anderson Ferreira comemorou assim que soube do resultado e destacou a importância da implantação do programa de escolas cívico-militares no Jaboatão. “É um projeto inovador, que vai estimular a disciplina e a organização na Escola Natividade Saldanha. Realizamos um processo democrático, ouvindo a comunidade e todos entenderam a importância desse projeto. Nesta quarta-feira (27), a secretária de Educação, Ivaneide Dantas, irá a Goiás iniciar uma série de visitas em escolas que adotam esse modelo para podermos implantar o melhor projeto no Jaboatão”, ressaltou. Ele lembra que tomou a iniciativa de aderir ao programa do MEC após o Governo do Estado não ter demonstrado interesse em inscrever escolas pernambucanas.
Irisline Eugênia da Silva é mãe de Vitor Gabriel, do 7º ano, e votou a favor da implantação do modelo de escola cívico-militar na unidade Natividade Saldanha. “A gente está precisando de uma escola como essa, não só para os alunos como também para a comunidade. Já tenho um filho na Natividade Saldanha, mas vou trazer também a minha filha, Cecília, que estuda numa escola particular”, contou. Lucinalva Miguel Ribeiro, que tem seu filho Tiago Ribeiro no 3º ano, também elogiou a iniciativa da Prefeitura do Jaboatão em aderir ao projeto. “Achei uma decisão ótima porque vai trazer muitos benefícios para a escola e disciplina para os alunos”, disse a dona de casa.
O Programa Nacional de Escolas Cívico-Militares foi anunciado neste ano pelo Ministério da Educação e a adesão foi aberta aos estados e municípios para atender, inicialmente, 54 unidades em todo o País. Em Pernambuco, apenas Jaboatão dos Guararapes foi contemplado. No regulamento, é garantido que a gestão continuará sendo do município e não haverá modificação na grade curricular. Militares da reserva das Forças Armadas, Polícia Militar e Bombeiros Militares serão selecionados para monitorar o trabalho realizados nas escolas. Todos os envolvidos, entre militares, gestores e representantes da Secretaria Municipal de Educação passarão por treinamento entre os dia 10 e 13 de dezembro, em Brasília.
