Adolescente de Jaqueira com comorbidade foi um dos primeiros a receber a vacinação contra a Covid-19
A Prefeitura de Jaqueira, na Mata Sul, começou nesta segunda-feira (23) a ampliar a oferta da vacina contra Covid-19 para adolescentes que tenham 12 anos de idade em diante, com comorbidades e deficiência permanente, por exemplo. Estão inclusos neste grupo, gestantes e puérperas na mesma faixa de idade. Atualmente, a gestão municipal está imunizando o público geral acima dos 18 anos de idade.
De acordo com a secretária de saúde da cidade, Thais Pellegrino, para receber a dose, os responsáveis pelos adolescentes devem procurar a Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) mais próxima de casa, ou agendar com o agente de saúde da área. Segundo ela, o município conta com cinco postos de saúde, entre eles (PSF 1) Jaqueira, (PSF 2) Frei Caneca, (PSF) 3 Alto da Boa Vista, (PSF 4) Lage Nova e (PSF 5) Dorinha Rodrigues.
“Nosso município recebeu 9.191 doses, dessas 8.038 já foram aplicadas. A quantidade que corresponde à primeira parte é de 5.698 aplicações, enquanto a segunda chega a 2.340”, detalha a prefeita de Jaqueira, Ridete Pellegrino. A gestora ainda reforça que é necessário que toda população procure o posto de saúde para tomar as duas doses da vacina.
CASOS DA DOENÇA:
Há quase quatro meses a cidade não registra casos graves da Covid-19 ou mortes por complicações da doença. O município que é destaque na região da Mata Sul pelo baixo número de contágios, até o momento acumula 549 casos, desses 529 foram recuperados.
