Campanha de Natal da LBV sensibiliza sociedade Pernambucana a ajudar a quem mais precisa
Não é novidade que milhares de brasileiros reduziram quantidade e qualidade do que ingerem diariamente. Ficar sem comer por 24 horas ou mais é a realidade de quase 20 milhões de pessoas no país. A dúvida se haverá alimento diariamente afeta mais de 24,5 milhões de cidadãos.
A Legião da Boa Vontade (LBV) promove sua tradicional campanha Natal Permanente da LBV — Jesus, o Pão Nosso de cada dia!, para fortalecer o espírito de Solidariedade e angariar doações em prol de quem mais precisa, assegurando-lhes o direito à alimentação. A meta da iniciativa natalina solidária é entregar 50 mil cestas de alimentos não perecíveis, as quais vão beneficiar famílias em vulnerabilidade social e em risco alimentar atendidas pela Instituição e por Entidades parceiras em 250 cidades brasileiras.
Em Pernambuco, a Caravana da Boa Vontade, percorrerá pelos municípios de Arcoverde, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Camaragibe, Caruaru, Ibimirim, Jaboatão, Moreno, Olinda, Paulista, Pedra, Petrolina, Recife, São Lourenço da Mata e Santa Cruz do Capibaribe assistindo mais de 1.862 famílias com 37 toneladas em alimentos.
