Armando ouve demandas de artistas e defende valorização da cultura pernambucana
Respeito ao artista e valorização da cultura pernambucana. Essas duas premissas foram defendidas na tarde desta quarta-feira 12 pelo candidato ao governo pela coligação Pernambuco Vai Mudar, senador Armando Monteiro (PTB), em encontro com representantes da música do Estado no seu comitê, em Boa Viagem, na Zona Sul do Recife. A reunião serviu como o início do diálogo que Armando busca instituir com o setor de forma a reforçar a identidade cultural plural do povo pernambucano e, com isso, fortalecer a economia criativa.
Estiveram presentes artistas como Alcymar Monteiro, Cristina Amaral, Marcelo Melo (Quinteto Violado), Nena Queiroga, André Rio, Irah Caldeira, Sérgio Andrade (Banda de Pau e Corda), Nádia Maia, Marrom Brasileiro, Rogério Andrade, Luciano Magno, Nonô Germano e Ed Carlos, além de produtores como Afonso Oliveira e Rogério Robalinho. Os candidatos ao Senado, Mendonça Filho (DEM) e Bruno Araújo (PSDB) e a vice-governador, Fred Ferreira (PSC), também participaram do encontro.
Críticas à gestão do setor cultural na esfera estadual foram numerosas. “Esse governador propôs a extinção da Secretaria de Cultura. Uma pessoa que trata os artistas como ele trata não tem sensibilidade”, afirmou Alcymar Monteiro, que declarou apoio a Armando. Em nome do Coletivo Pernambuco, o cantor André Rio questionou o candidato sobre a nomeação dos gestores culturais no seu futuro governo. Armando respondeu que o “diálogo com os artistas é essencial, pois o perfil de um gestor na área da cultura deve ter interação com a categoria e sensibilidade para entender as demandas. A cultura pernambucana se expressa pela sua pluralidade”.
Os artistas apresentaram a Armando uma pauta com cinco demandas, voltadas para a valorização da cultura local e ainda para a desburocratização da contratação de apresentações, além do pagamento dos cachês com mais celeridade. “Eu fico indignado com a maneira que somos tratados. Temos orgulho do nosso frevo, do nosso forró, do nosso maracatu. Mas esse governo não valoriza o que temos de melhor”, afirmou o cantor e compositor Marrom Brasileiro. “A economia criativa gera muitos empregos. Ainda mais no caso de Pernambuco, onde temos essa identidade cultural forte e plural. Qualquer gestor tem que estabelecer um diálogo com os artistas”, afirmou Armando.
